| 1982 World Endurance Championship For this championship we will be using the Virtua_LM GTPC mod for rFactor 1 You will also need the updated rFm, the HSO Prototype C v3.0 update and Group 5 addon v2.0 Car Selection and Participation rules General rules:- A car can only be booked for drivers registered on the forum - A car can only be driven in qualifying by one team member at a time - Drivers are allowed to book cars from separate teams in both Group C/6 and Group 5 classes - You must drive in each class once (Group C/6 and Group 5) during the season. This rule can be triggered by sharing a car with a different driver in each class. - A team driver must complete at least 30% of the cars distance to be eligible for points (We will list the amount of laps in the race thread) - The maximum a team driver can drive is 70% of the total distance. (We will list the amount in the race thread) Group C/6 specific rules:- A driver cannot book a car alone and then add drivers later in the Group C/6 class - Group C/6 cars must be booked by at least 2 drivers. - Any driver can only drive the Porsche 956 and Lancia LC1 only once during the season. - If you wish to drive the 956 or LC1 you can only book one of those cars as part of a team. (One team of 3 drivers cannot book the 2 Porsche 956 for example) - Group C cars can only pit 5 times for fuel - Qualifying and Grand Prix engines are banned for the race sessions. Group 5 specific rules:- Car selection is free - A driver can book a car alone and or/add other drivers later or drive solo Breaking any of the above rules will lead to either disqualification from the race or the championshipPoints System
Points are awarded on the following scale: 1st place: 20 points 2nd place: 15 points 3rd place: 12 points 4th place: 10 points 5th place: 8 points 6th place: 6 points 7th place: 4 points 8th place: 3 points 9th place: 2 points 10th place: 1 point Points are awarded to the top 10 placed cars at each round, regardless of class. The Group 5 class scores an extra 3 bonus points when the finish in the top ten. (If a group 5 car finishes 10th, they would in fact score 4 points in total) Event Schedule Qualifying 1 : Thursday 21:00 CET start time Qualifying 2 : Saturday 21:00 CET start time Race: Sunday 16:00 CET Warmup 16:45 CET Drivers briefing 17:00 CET Race start Start ProcedureRace will feature a rolling start. Once everybody is on the grid and green lights have been shown, drivers will start a formation lap at low speed. Do not overtake, stay packed, no more than 2 or 3 car lengths between each car. After the last turn, cars will keep rolling at reduced speed in the starting grid formation, so remember your side of the grid. When the leading car will be in sight of the start/finish line, an admin will give the real start of the race by typing "GREEN FLAG" in chat. Overtake before crossing the start/finish line is not allowed.Zigzaging to warm up your tires is not allowed. Before the green flag, drivers should maintain a staggered formation, and not stay along side each others. Behaviour on track- For this race, a pit speed limit of 100 km/h will be observed. - as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you. - Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only. - Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race. - Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track. - Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane. Application and Interpretation of the RegulationsThe admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations. => Drivers swap procedure / Procédure de changement de pilote <=

| I like this. If you drive two cars, and both finish in a points scoring position, do you get points for both cars? | |

If you drive two cars, and both finish in a points scoring position, do you get points for both cars? No, just the highest placed one you drove. Assuming you drove over 30% of the cars total distance.

But the other would be in the classification as well? so if one car finished 5th, the next 6th and then a rival was in 7th, the rival would score 7th place points, correct?

| I can not find all the group 5 cars; eg Ferrari (or is that what the patch is for)
I have the PrototypeC v1.3 installed, so can I when (when posted) add the group 5 patch, then the PrototypeC v2??
Thanks | |

| Will the list of available cars be identical for each round, or does it depend on which cars entered the actual 1982 race? | |
