How did your races go Richard? You had some awful luck but still had a good pace.

@Alberto you reckon you can solve your ctd issues for next race?

yea thx Jason...I see a lot of Volvo's spinning in 1 shot

tough for first round of the season. I was surprised from carnages at the start , but it helped gaining a good position. Started both time from the back of the top 10 and was in 4th after turn 4 . I was slower than the cars around me, so i lost places in every race. With a 8th and 10th (after crashing in 6th position at the chicane) i am happy though.

Damm Yves tu es démasqué , met toi en position pour tes 100 coups de fouet

Qualifs conformes à mes attentes dans les deux manches, il reste toutefois pas mal de boulot pour apprivoiser cette BMW, pas forcément facile à faire avancer vite.

Bons départs dans les deux course, excepté dans la deuxième manche le fait d'avoir été surpris en découvrant au dernier moment Jan partir en travers à l'approche de Old Hairpin et perd à mon tour le contrôle dès que j'ai levé le pied. Même pas eu le temps de freiner, elle part d'un côté, puis de l'autre, pour finir dans Greg et Richard, désolé les gars !

Sinon, très, très handicapé par l'inversion de la vision de mon rétro extérieur gauche (le seul visible dans le cockpit) qui me renvoie l'image de ce que je verrai dans le droite !!!
Comme les rétros virtuels nous donnent une vision écrasée, totalement inefficace, me situer par rapport aux autres voitures fut chose totalement impossible, ce qui est très handicapant dans ce genre de course où les contacts virils (mais corrects) font partie de la course et où la vision périphérique est tout aussi importante que celle vers l'avant.

J'espère que, pour la prochaine course, Steve, mon partenaire pourra bénéficier de meilleurs conditions de vision.

Ouaip, Greg, désolé, je l'ai tout de suite perdue dès que j'ai levé le pied (c'est une propulsion) en apercevant Jan en vrac. J'ai essayé de la récupérer en vain, le phénomène s'est amplifié, coup de raquette classique....

No problem Yves. It happened a lot in touring cars, especially Supertourers. You may feel my Renault nudging your BMW's rear bumper now on though

Still...it was a relatively succesfull weekend. BMW, Honda and Audi all did their utmost best to stop the Renaults in their tracks

Well especially Richard Coxon's Renault needs some extra protection! Just saw the replay of race 2...lap 14 at the hairpin, Jan Titz' Audi pushes Richard into a 360 barrel-roll...omg I did not knew about that one! Accident of the year already?

Such bad luck accumulated into one BTCC race...I hope Renault have enough spare parts

I fonaly find a time today to watch the replay. You are right, it was clearly a bad move form my side. I am sorry for that and I can only promise that I will do my best to avoid such a moves next time. Sorry!
