| Here is a download link for the "4GB Patch" We recommend everyone uses it, even if you have a "Super computer" rFactor in its default state is limited to only use 2GB of RAM, this patch enables it to use 4GB or RAM. So if you do not have the patch, regardless of how much RAM you have, rFactor will still only access 2GB of it. Using it enables rFactor to use double the amount of RAM it can access. 4GB Patch | |

| And there is something to add in rfactor shortcut, right? Something like /fullproc ...*?= I forgot, and I changed all the shortcuts | |

| I think Raul is speaking about the +fullproc. It allows, if I'm correct, rFactor to use the multi-core of the processor. Need to be confirmed by someone though | |

| +fullproc +highprio That allows rfactor to use all cores of cpu. 1-Right click on rFactor shortcut,if you have no shortcut create one. 2-click properties. 3-shortcut 4-Add +fullproc +highprio in Target line after c:rFactor.exe | |

| If I'm using rFactor Ignition (It's some kind of mod launcher for thos who don't know), do I have to edit the "Launch rfactor" shortcut in that program with those commands? (Like here) | |

| I think you can leave a space after the exe I believe, also for the second addition. | |

| how to check if the 4GB path is OK?
in rf liteinstalled few days ago in config.ini i have lines
SystemRAM=4092 VideoRAM=4032
(6GB RAM on MB)
and in old install copied from old computer (pathed 2 month ago by 4GB patch) i have
SystemRAM=1020 VideoRAM=4032
VLM mod with 30 cars which was before patch CTD now works OK
is 4GB patch altering the EXE so then i must patch all copies of rfactor.exe copied from rflite for standalone instalations of mods?

| From my understanding yes it patches just the .exe that the patch was ran on. You would have to patch each .exe for the installs or I just simply replace the .exe's with the one I just patched. | |
