Canam 1971 mod

A small 1971 Canam mod has been released, which contains 4 cars :

McLaren M8F



Porsche 917 (?)



BRM P154



Lola T260



Quickly tried it, moddeling and sounds are OK, but physics are quite poor. The engine blows up each time you hit the rev limiter, and the car is almost uncatchable when begining to slide The default setup is very bad also, especially the gearbox. Maybe i'll try to modify it ....

Modelling looks poor imho... the Porsche looks a like a mix of a 917PA and a 917/10. The M8F looks OK tho. The BRM and Lola skins - ! But I'll give it a try nevertheless .
The F5000 beta mod also has this ultra-realistic engine thing but has great physics.

In the 1971' Can Am season, the 917 was driven by Jo Siffert (with the STP livery, never with this Brumos skin!).
The car was a simple evolution of the 69' 917 spyder dumbed PA (for Porsche Audi... Because the season was funded by Audi America).
The turbo engine was not ready and the regular 5L 12 flat was used with average results.
