Subject: IMPORTANT: F1 1978 PATCHES (Mandatory install) Mon 18 Jan 2016 - 10:21
A patch has been created by David Sabre to fix two glitches:
- The toe in could only be adjusted negative or zero, now you can also adjust it positive to improve stability of the rear.
- A glitch in some cars meant they could refuel quickly, instead of the 2-3 minutes that takes the rest of cars. (Pit stops were done in 1978 only to repair damage, never for strategy reasons as it was not worth it) Now this is also fixed and the refuel times for all cars were revised and made as similar as possible.
Please install it for the next race.

I have an issue after installing this patch - my rear view mirrors are pointing to the ground and it's not possible to set them correctly (too narrow range). This goes for both, in car and virtual mirror.

The patch has no effects over graphics at all You might have moved them inadvertedly.
Use this tutorial to make them point the right way:

Shift&Control + Arrow buttons, but I noticed that this button combo also altered my GID trackmap on the screen.

I know this, Alberto What I'm saying is that the range of mirror settings is too narrow, i can't raise it up enough. You can move the position only within +/- 100 and now it's suddenly not enough. It's either pointing straight to the ground or, well, i little less than that. But still completely different from Argentina, where it was all right.
I just tested other mods, there is no issue. So something has happened with F1 78 mod only. And it's really unfortunate, as I can see only some 5 meters behind the car, not good for online racing...
EDIT:
*** RESOLVED ***
Stupid me, I just moved my seat too much forward, so I got out of range for mirror settings. Moved my seat a little backwards and it's all fine

Ahah! I am having this exact same issue in another mod and tweaked the seating position to fix it. Thank you Petr!
