| all pilots who took part in the race finished I think maybe half or less. Also close rfactor problems ? Could anything in the model or track that would make this happen? de todos los pilotos que tomaron parte en la carrera , creo que terminaron la mitad o quizás menos . | |

Yeah, sad moment for me. Even after that crash with lost nose and bent right rear suspension I could match the laptimes of Petr and Yves almost the whole race. But race had way more positive results for me: Car was amazing to drive! didn't think it would be possible to overtake here, but I experienced the complete opposite. Engine % was no problem for me at all (never expected to finish the race) and my steering wheel G27 also survived P5 after 70 Seconds repair time is very nice, but I gained many places because of the DNFs. Perhaps it's some problem with too low graphics settings? Never had any disconnect with max settings. Did you all expect these disconnects in training sessions before today, too? RAM usage shouldn't be a problem, even on 32bit Windows - had a maximum RAM usage for rFactor about 900MB.

Presume me either wounded enough to not be able to race/dead or without internet if I don't show up when I said I would. Apart from the fun, looking at my pace and the capabilities of the car at my hands, I am quite sure podiums are possible. Now I am already on the back foot Anyway, looks like the race was marred by problems? Re-run?

| If it happened only at a certain distance, the high-detail 3D model could be the culprit (That one appears only when you are close).
Please as Guillaume said try to determine which car it was, maybe if you look at the replay you will be able to identify it.

| In my case, first ctd in qualy, I tweaked my setup in settings panel. So I was not on track. Second ctd in race, I was just behind Mike's car.

Do you know what car(s) it was ? A Lola 300 I believe, one of the times. Can't remember the other times. Happened once during unofficial practice earlier in the week too. After the race, I did some AI races with 30+ cars, maximum graphics settings, set on accelerated time for quite a while, on several tracks.. No CTD'd

| Harsh return. I've got too few time to train as i should. I wasn't remembering the F5000 to be so touchy to drive. I was, however, remembering the pain in the ... that Laguna is. Never liked this one. So I was lacking a good preparation. 20 laps training, a new mod. So I've done a very poor set up with an overall unstable car. Understeer in entry, oversteer in exit, gearbox too short, unstable on brakes, over reaction on throttle and brakes lock in front everytime I hit the pedal...Quite an nigthmare . All along the qualifications I've tried to set things a bit more drivable. I managed to scratch about 2 seconds a lap but I was still far from having good feelings. The car was still very touchy on brakes. But, well, I've been able to avoid the last spot on the grid. Not so bad after all. Not suprising, during the race, I've paid for such short preparation. The front wheel were locking at almost every braking making the car quite touchy. Got also a bit too much sliding of the back wheel on throttle. But i was nonetheless driving faster in race than in training. As I was trying to catch up with Yannick I've done a final mistake at this braking of Corkscrew. The car makes a sweet somersault. The rear right suspension was bend. I try to repair it at the pits but no way. Back to pit then to retire. | |
