Behaviour on track
- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.
- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

Im watching this onboard footage below, and I wonder, did they had any kind of semi-automatic gearboxes? It looks that whenever Andreti lifts off the gear automaticaly shifst down?? I dont know if Im seeing or hearing something wrong, but if not, it looks like the slowest turns he passes in 3rd gear, which is quite odd in comparison with simulation we are driving...

What you're hearing is the pop-off valve, which sounds similar to a gear shift. He is changing down himself, like any other sequential gearbox. Just like in our mod.

I hope to be there. However, I can't guarantee, as I'll spend the whole weekend on a curling tournament = some 18 hours on ice, very little sleep and too much alcohol

nice timed laps Yves !
hope you don't miss the start this time you're a reference for me as we raced each other before at FFSCA on GTR-GTR2
edit: by the way after looking at the video of Raul, and the pole lap of 1999 of Montoya [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] pole lap in 1999 was 1:13.585 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] greg Moore in 1998 1:13.530 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
best lap of Yves in 1:09.926 it is a bit fast and JP and Rocky did not set yet a time 1.08 to 1.07 ?
the track seem to short/small or too fast !

I watched the whole race (but in fast forward), and at one point, somebody was complaining about very slippery surface, since its concrete most of the track (or maybe even all??). It could be the reason we are faster. Or maybe we're just better drivers

@ Raul yes that's true Raul, i tried JP Detroit'98 version and the grip is different on concret surface versus paved surface more tricky track and some turns compeltlty different (more accurate i would say)
@ Jason and admins by the way as it was said in Surfers streaming (you noted it) you have seen that i 've been trapped in the pit lane with the same pitbox as Jacob i didn't loss a lot of places as we were Under yellow flag (safetycar), but i may have gain one or 2 positions
so i will give you Jason for the 2 last races the 2 edited GDB with pit-group-order included
edit: 2h29 PM sent to you Jason

To ensure that we don't have any bizarre pit incidents like occurred at Surfers, Mathieu has updated the GDB file with the pit group order for us. Everyone please download the update in the first post.
