Dear Greg, I dont belive it.. not only we are same birthday, but we both had Basset Hounds!!!!
I start crying every time I see one!!!
We had Draguljče ("small gem", but also Drago(n) - named after Inspector Draguljče, a famous cartoon character in our country), and he also past away in december, but 2012, in age of 14!!  He was our first child. Its a dog whith most human face, and with zillions of tricks to fool you. You just cant resist but to adore him.. Im trying convince my wife to have another one, but we have another dog now, its Irish softcoated terrier, and she thinks that we are not strong enough to handle two of them now...
