| Greetings - I'm a long time rFactor racer with other groups (R2P the most lately) and I'd like to join in on many upcoming (ie part time) of the series - running TA1 class. I see #15 & #68 are available, the Javelin being the preference of the two. If I've overlooked a wait-list, then add me to that & I'll play the wait game.
Thanks & all

| Hi Charlie. This car is not part of the field - the only TA-1 available is the #45 Ford Mustang '69... | |

| I'm not sure if this would be considered exceptional but is there any chance I could swap my #70 mustang for one of the available alfas? I'm struggling with the driving style for the big cars and just can't turn any kind of decent pace. If no I'll push on with the pony.
Thanks | |

Thanks I too was having similar thoughts. Gregs posts on pitstop for bmw/escort regarding fuel usage.got my attention, but that didn't want me to change. I accepted that my choice was made without satisfactory testing. I did test all the TA2 cars, but only for 10 laps each on an inappropriate track. What realy got me thinking about requesting a change was seeing how Pascal(escprt) could go absoloutlly flat out into the first chicane, and able to brake between the two kinks of the chicane.Even before I needed to turn left for the chicane, my bmw was going into a speed wobble, and when I did turn in with the tiniest turn of the steering wheel, the car proceeded to try and swap itself round. I tried everything with the setup and steering wheel setting to make it as understeer as possible, but it just was not having it. (One thing I did not try was the rake). Everywhere else the car is great, but even then, the escort is more nimble. Anyway, I don not actually want to request a change to the escort at the moment, until I try it again. but whever on doing so, a change would be considered?? It is not lost on me that the situation was reversed in F165 last year when I had the ferrari, and Pascal had something that was slow. Unfortunately, my skill or lack saw him wipe the floor with me anyway. Anyway, no real biggy...Not exceptional circumstances, just bad planning on my part and maybe just not understanding how these cars need to be driven.

| I see the #68 and #93 have become available...any chance I could switch to one of those (#68, ideally) rather than my Mustang?
The Ford was my only choice starting out and I never clicked with its physics the way I do with the later cars. I don't think this constitutes "exceptional circumstances" so I'll truck along with the Mustang if needed but more comfortable wheels would be nifty.
