je pense que tu peux tester les Mustang et Camaro fin 60 début 70 et Javelin.
et il me semble si je ne trompe pas qu'il devrai y avoir une classe moins de 2 litres.
avec alfa GTA   BM2002 Cooper ext..

It's not easy anyway getting 1.96 Instead of a patch they did a whole new download and it is big as an elephant and nobody hosts it. There's mainly torrents out there, which I never use

Hey my old simracing friends, how are you these days?

I wanted to get my feet wet a little with 2015 season cars and tracks and maybe later applying for championship if there will be any free spots left, but could not download anything from the forum. It says download aborted, returns blank screen or starts downloading a 0KB file.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a tech issue?

Hi Peter, long time no see Hmm you're right indeed it does the same to me . Everything seems to be ok with our server, but let me do some more thourough checks and I'll get back at you.

It seems we're having some winHTTP failure of some sorts, I'm trying to work it out.

This one beats me I gotta say - not that this has ever been my area of expertise anyway... I'll keep digging but my guess is that we're going to have to wait for Gui or Martin to show up before any fixing is done, sorry . Will let you know as soon as it's taken care of.

Frank you mention "on the rFactor side" in your post. Is there possibly an rFactor2 side??

Hi Paul long time no see ! Yes we were hoping to have some rF2 action this year, particularly with the 1960s formulaes, but at the moment I don't see that happening before the second semester. It could also make for an interesting Summer series now that I think of it . But you know how it goes : so many things to do - so little time, eh !

I'll add that currently, there's no mod nor set of tracks to do a proper historic championship the HSO way.
There are the CART mods coming, and work has restarted on the F1 79 mod : those are the early hopes.

As usual, if we want something badly, the best idea would be to do it ourselves, but I don't see that happening right now.

Yes indeed that's one of our concerns regarding rF2. To be honest if have not checked the rF2 news since more than a year, but I trust you are correct JP . Still, I found that the 1960s single-seaters were satisfactory enough as per HSO standards and if a decent amount of period tracks were to be made available I would have no problem in doing events with those cars .

Yes it's been awhile Frank! Glad to see a lot of the regulars still playing here. My time has been so limited but I intend to come back here eventually.
What little racing I've done has been with rF2. Those 60's Formula cars would be a great way to move into rF2!!! Summer Series! I like it!!!!

That's another problem. As far as I'm aware, there aren't many of them
Off the top of my head : Monaco, Spa, Monza, Aintree, Longford, Eläintarha and La Chatre.

I'm not following the "underground" side of modding, if there are more period tracks available, they would be the same GPL > rF > rF2 conversions anyway.

A lot has changed in rF2 in a years time. There may be enough stuff to make a short series. The Monte Carlo and Spa tracks are a blast with those cars. Spa is downright scary!!!
They have 2 T70 Lola's as well ( called Howstons!!! ) which would be a start to some sports car racing.

I'm not sure rF2 will still work on our Windows 2003 server.
