EVENT SCHEDULE

Wednesday November 26th (all times given are CET) :

20:00 - Free Practice
20:50 - Qualifying Shoot-out (private session, 5 minutes, 1 flying lap)
20:55 - Drivers' briefing and reconnaissance laps procedure
21:00 - Race 1 start (25 laps)
22:00 - Race 2 start (25 laps)

Server Password : hso88
A training server will be running 24/7 (same password).

Race Start Procedure

Behaviour on track

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.

Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

Is everyone else getting alot of popup of trackside objects with this track, especially around the start/ finish straight? Also the track surface looks horrendous looks more like gravel than tarmac and occasionally disappears when you drive over it.

Alan did you try different graphic settings?

The track texture is maybe not beautiful but it should not disappear

I should be here... if I can have the 635, after the debacle with the Mustang last time.

I think Jonatan is still OK with swapping (correct me if I'm wrong )

Looked at my configuration settings and it had reverted to DX7 have changed it back to DX9 and it has made track look alot better and has improved the track disappearing only happened once in about 10 laps this time, its only the track that disappears the grass etc is still there and it only disappears for about half a second and doesn't have any affect on the car.

Object do pop up in dx9 as well overhere. When u go over start/finish u see the background pop up, and also other trees. But i can handle that, its not that i cant see the track. I tried lowering track details from full to high but no good.

I took the track we used in previous DTM88 championship. I didn't take a look when I launched the server. I'll go to do a lap as soon as possible.

I will miss this round due to Turkey (Thanksgiving) Day travels.

I only saw that too. Nothing embarrassing. The track don't disappear on my PC.
Settings tried : Full and high.

Can I ask why we are using this version and not the Carrera 1988 track? I'm assuming the DTM layout was the same as the F1 race that year.

Because the GP4 tracks are better.

Have you tried setting your graphics card Maximum Pre-Rendered frames = 1 ?
