Round 6 - Mainz-Finthen [June 25th]

Man, Race 1 was a disaster    Got hit from behind on the formation lap, and then got bounced into a tire barrier that was solid on lap 1.  Engine dead, race over.  Looking for happier times in Race 2...  

I'm really starting to be fedup with this series, this is the umteenth time I am innocent victim of first lap incidents   

I was sent to the back of the field and started climbing positions but was in a rage and made two errors at the 1st turn brake point later; Apologizes to those I scared but both times I had my view of my braking point obscured by another car and I didn't have a clear mental picture either, due to being deeply annoyed. Fortunately, I didn't hit anybody but I was too upset to continue racing, so I quit  

Hopefully the summer break will do some good

Quali - whoops! Dinner was slightly badly timed...   

Race 1 - up to 8th or something like that on the first lap!   Some very nice battles, particularly with Frank, finished 4th in the end, despite hitting a completely innocent Roy as he spun onto the track...   

Race 2 - similarly good start, then was spun into the final corner on lap 2   Recovered into the top 10, then felt a sharp pain in my back. Decided that I was better off pulling out  

*Just a note - please, those of you being lapped, please be more courteous to the leading cars! 

1st race was hell...I landed upside down on my roof   

2nd race was ok despite making some mistakes myself.

@admin please look into the replay of race 2, I should have finished 7th but rFactor decided I missed a whole lap due to me going off track on lap 40, but I did not cut the track so please give me back my 7th place, thx

très bonne première course, un peu lent à démarrer, prudent, j'évite les incidents du début, c'était le principal
plus la course passait et mieux ça allait, sauf une touchette avec un pneu bétonné pendant la longue bagarre avec Gérard je termine en trombe, un peu grâce aux leaders qui me servent de lièvres sur la fin... pas vu les 45 tours passer!
seconde course beaucoup moins palpitante, vite isolé entre les 2 pelotons, tout de même de bonnes sensations et pas d'erreur, plus rapide qu'en 1ère aussi, mais ça ne suffit pas à faire une course mémorable

First of all - appologies to Peter Blom for spinning you in the second corner in race 2! I was focusing too mutch on leaving enough room on the inside to the car that was there than looking ahead, and tapped you around. Sorry!

My two races were rally enjoyable, and in particular the final one, where I had fights with both Matthew, Jean-Francios and Mick throughout the race. I really loved the couple of laps where we were side by side and really really fighting!

Very entertaining circuit to race, and with my two great starts I was in the thick of it big time in the fiirst laps, very fun!

Our love is impossible Ben ... Avus, Mainz and similars are the tracks I do best, and I even like them

I like this kinda tracks. I mean barrier to barrier, wall to wall. No room for any mistake.

Honestly I expected a JP or any other mercedes driver in the pole. A madafkin' mercedes domination with fights for every little positions.  
It was a little bit surprise, I beat the second place 0.5 s. I knew my times in race are very good, but on super pole Q. I thought I had no chance at all  

After a very good Q, and good starts I thought, I can win easily.
So pole, 2 win, 2 fastest lap on the race, I couldn't ask more than like this.

Yes congratulations Balazs, achieving that in this league is quite a feat. If you continue at this rate, you will force our aliens to start training and learning the tracks before the races

Imre Bende at the 10th place with 62 points. Anders Nilsson has 61 points and he is 9th
