| Arrggh. 2nd time i was lapped was too busy watching the leader in my mirrors and caught a red barrel of death dead center of the hood. Kaput! Cyril and I were close on speed. We raced close for a little while there. I suspect we would have been on the same lap all race. He was consistent and caught back up anytime I made a mistake. Did I mention I hate the red barrels of death? Well my butt is happy I do not have to run 3.2 more hours Dead Farkin Last... I am switching cars! Escort too twitchy and slow with a tiny gas tank.

| I have no idea what just happened, but I'm really disappointed When I logged on as a spectator to take over for Alberto, I was getting a "no" sign in the lower right where you would click race. Nevertheless, the server said I was now riding with him. When he came in, I received no count down clock at all. Then, I was suddenly deposited in the car, in the garage -- with default setup! Tried to drive with it, but I slid off the edge of the track, DNF. Never seen this before; not sure if it is the server or something on my end or Alberto's end. Anyway, yeah. Tough one to swallow. | |

| The same happened to some people at Road Atlanta last time, and it was said that when you enter the server, you must click really quick on "Race" to get in car. If you don't, you can quit and come back on the server to try to do that again. | |

| I posted before I couldn't make race, this is because I was visiting family and wouldn't be back until 7(Last 2hours of race)
So really needed Carl to start the race, but with him being busy it wasn't possible. Seems though the HGT mod struggles with endurance races and driver changes.

| Naaah, 4 hours' not that long, Ben can do that without any help (plus he's too far back anyway ) For next time, the word need to be spread out beforehand : there is NO problem with driver changes, you just have to make it quick once you enter the server. Considering the moderate amount of entries, I'd say you could even have you teammate as a spectator on the server from the start of the race, that's what we did last time and today with Ricard. Hopefully more cars can be gathered for the 5 hours of Mid-Ohio, which is gonna be an amazing race ! Let's advertise around us and try to bring more people over guys ! My race, well pretty bad, my pace was OK really, but the GTO traffic was thick (well there was two particularly annoying Capri and Corvette ), and I was confident I could give the car to Ricard in the same lap as the GTU leaders. This hope vanished 10 laps after my first stop when I hit the tyre wall at the hairpin and had to pit for repair. Then, 10 laps later, the engine blew. In Mid-Ohio, we will be better prepared and hopefully our wee Porsche will shine this time | |

Agree, had already thought of that and while with many entries (As in Atlanta) that might overload the server traffic, in races with less attendance like this it should work well. Maybe the admins could announce after qualy if they allow the codrivers to stay as spectators?

| Well, I realy realy enjoyed that....Managed to hold position at start...(I think?) but soom after was battling with Frank. When ever I was behind him, I could brake smoothly into first tight right hander, but when ever I got past him on the straight.....could I replicate smooth braking...like hell I could...lap after lap of passing Frank, then him getting past at said corner. But when I eventualy managed to hold position I spun a few laps later....Managed to make the tyres last 65 laps, getting up to 2nd, so thought I might get away with two stops. Soon after pit stop, ripped wheel of on barrel so an extra stop......Frank and Ben were my realistic target as well as unlapping myself trying not to ruin battles for position....so abanded original stratedgy and blew engine. I guess damaged radiator didn't help..... Kind of relived it's over already as I wasn't prepared for long run (not eaten enough today, and no redbull) and bits were beginig to hurt. And I can watch F1 and have an early night Thanks all, and HSO!! | |

| Thx to all guys for coming yesterday. Grats to the survivors who finished the race. Even if, there was a few participants, the race was, from my point of view a nice race. Some fights from start until the end : Grats Austin and Steph/Alexandre. The begin of the race was wonderfull, with Franky, Antoine, Mick, Yves. We swapped the positions during a good time. Toinou, in front of me, who was crossed at every turns, spectacular. Sad for him and his teammate Ricard, when I saw Toinou to blow the engine just in front of me, at the start of the straight line. After, I tried to catch Franky and his BMW, who have only 2 stops to do, against 3 for me. But I did too little driving faults. A thought for Mateusz, who lead 188 laps before to crash his Porsche. Greg and I were gone with our 2 capris, but we planned that I jumped on his car, and canceled mine during the race. So Mateusz crashed his car, and by dint of that Greg took the lead. So, I spoke with Greg about strategy to swapping. And so we implemented a "shark strategy" : We decided he gone until 3h59 to create the most comfortable gap to allow us to swap. Greg tried to go the faster he could during the end of the race. I jumped in his car, and just did 50 meters in the pit line when I saw the finish flag. I'm not very proud of this strategy who gives me 20 points and adds a win to my stats. But IMSA rules allows that, and Frank tell me an anecdote about a real driver who had a trick like that in a IMSA championship. Grats again to the team Pras/Kieffer, like for Road Atlanta, there was a tiny gap after a 4 hours race. | |

| Great race guys My first run was great me and alexandre were nose to tail for about an hour amazing driving skills alex!! Before my second pit i made a dumb move in front of one of the faster cars and got hit and spun a couple times hit the wall and gained some damage. When steph got in the car thats when i tried to go faster but the wheels just wouldn't stay on that little bmw. Its gonna be a huge challenge trying to beat you guys this year. Congrats all finishers great race. | |
