You will need to select the "1965 Formula One Championship HSO" carset in the player selection, where it is listed as a different mod from the standard 1965 F1 one.
Car Selection The Field (traduction dans le post suivant)Our 1965 F1 field is limited to 30 cars, divided in three distinct groups : the 15 works cars, 11 additional private entries, and the 4 Reg Parnell Racing entries. The 15 works + 11 private cars will be attributed to a fixed driver for the year. The four Reg Parnell Racing cars will be free at each race for all the other drivers to race. Drivers having a fixed car for the year will be mentioned as
primary drivers, while all the other drivers will be mentioned as
reserve drivers.
All the cars will be eligible for World Championship points. The 15 private entries (11 + 4 Parnell) will also compete towards the GPDA Von Trips Trophy (
see below Championship Rules for details).
Six of the cars are also linked to our 1965 BSCC series, which means that the driver of each of the 6 concerned 1965 F1 cars will automatically be attributed the 1965 BSCC car tied to this entry.
Car Attribution (traduction dans le post suivant)Car selection will not be free. Instead each driver wanting to participate will have to start by declaring himself and by posting his three choices of car in order of preference. After this first phase is completed, the admins will sort the field and determine who the 26 primary drivers, those having a car booked for the year, will be. The admins will take into consideration several factors to select the 26 primary drivers, most important of which will be the will of a driver to compete for a full season. To make sure no primary cars remains in the hands of a "ghost" driver,
primary drivers missing two races in succession, with or without notice on the forum, will lose their primary drive. Here is a detailed schedule for the booking process :
December 9th, 8:00pm CET : series announcement, booking is closed.
December 16th, 8:00pm CET : booking opens, drivers can register to the series and post their car choices.
December 21st, 11:00pm CET : booking is closed, admins start processing the field.
December 26th, 9:00pm CET : the 2014 field is announced by the admins.
It is important that each driver registering to the series does so using the following nomenclature :
- Quote :
- - choice 1 : car #
- choice 2 : car #
- choice 3 : car #
- interested in BSCC : yes/no
The drivers having registered for the series but who did not get a primary car will be considered as reserve drivers. Reserve drivers can try to qualify for a race by posting times on the training server with one of the four Reg Parnell Racing cars (all four cars are identical Lotus 25s). The four fastest of these drivers will be allowed to race on Sunday night. This pre-qualifying process will end on Friday night preceding the race, at 10:00pm CET.
The four drivers qualified to race with the four Reg Parnell entries after the end of the pre-qualifying process on friday night have to confirm their presence before saturday 8pm, otherwise their car will be open to the next driver in the hotlap page. If a driver has confirmed his presence but still miss the race, whatever the reason, he will receive a warning. If he miss a second race after this warning, he will be declared unable to qualify for the next race.
Reserve drivers will also be first in line to take over the primary car of a driver having lost his ride. All the reserve drivers will be put in a waiting list, sorted by date of registration to the 1965 F1 series. When a primary driver loses his drive, the first reserve driver in the waiting list is offered the freed primary car. Should he choose not to take it (and thus remain a reserve driver), the second driver in line will be offered the car, and so on until the car finds a driver.
Primary drivers having lost their rides will be retrograded to the reserve driver ranks and put at the end of the waiting list. Drivers registering for the series during the course of the year will also automatically be considered as reserve drivers and will be put at the end of the waiting list as they register along. All the drivers part of the waiting list can try to qualify to a race with one of the Reg Parnell Racing cars.
If a reserve driver sets his best prequalifying time with an other car than a Reg Parnell Racing one, he will automatically be excluded from the prequalifying of this race.
Championship RulesThe World Drivers Championship and the Constructors Cup will be run over 10 meetings.
The GPDA Von Trips Trophy, which will only concern private entries, will be run over 16 meetings : the 10 World Championship races and the 6 non-championship events.
Private entries can score in the World Drivers Championship and in the Constructors Cup as well.

Race server password :
hso65Starts will be given standing on the grid, without a formation lap.
Training ServerA training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Password :
hso65Points SystemPoints will be awarded to the first six classified drivers using the traditional
9-6-4-3-2-1 scale, for all three championships.
Only drivers having completed 66% of the distance covered by the race winner will be classified at the end of the race and can score points in the World Drivers' Championship.
On the privateers' side, only drivers having completed 66% of the distance covered by the best classified privateer will be eligible for points in the Von Trips Trophy.
In the Formula 1 Constructors Cup, only the best car of each make will score at each race (provided of course it was classified in the final standings of the race). A make is a combination of chassis+engine : for instance Lotus-Climax and Lotus-BRM are regarded as two different makes.
Only the best six results will count at the end of the year for the World Drivers' Championship and the Constructors' Cup, but all results will count for the Von Trips Trophy.
Race Start Procedure--> Reconnaissance Laps <--Behaviour on track- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.
- Chatting is
STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.
- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.
- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.
- Respect the red light at the end of the pitlane.
