| Every member watching television in general and football in particular instead of doing this race will be banned ! Kidding but we're not 10 on the server at the moment... It's not too late to join in... | |

| Bloody internet!!!! Lost my connection, was enjoying a nice race with Ben and Carl, Was hoping to challenge Frank possibly but the way the Sierra was acting there was no chance. Front Left was dark red, No turn in or anything. Shame we only had a few but there was a nice atmosphere. Sorry lost my connection, But you know what the English weather is like! Roll on the Targa!! Thanks again Frank for a great series and for the race. Or did the Mrs. Pull the internet cable out??? | |

| That was a very hard race, but a fun one as well Qualifying: Was struggling to get into the grove but finally managed to get a mid 51 in which I was happy with and 4th on the grid, although I was hoping for a little bit better, was a big bonus Race: I was hoping to get a good start and maybe slip by all of the fellows ahead and then hold on and I also made a brave/stupid decision to use mediums on the front and hards on the rear to try and have more bite. The start I had was average but, after half a lap of side by side action with Frank, managed to slip by up to third place and was able to keep up with JP and Yves for the opening laps almost giving Yves a bit of hurry alongs out of the 90 degree left hander Was happy with it and my pace but I slowly began to drop the pace a little bit when the fronts began to overheat (should have gone for Hards on the front and very hards on the rear) but I was still sort of able to keep up with Yves in the Sierra. Around lap 12 I checked in my mirror and was sort of surprised to see that Frank had caught back up after he dropped back a bit in the early areas of the race but then settled down and tried to keep him behind me as well as I could. Could do that for, I think, 5 laps or so before my fronts were completely melted and I had to concead the position when Frank made a nice move of turning in tighter through Turn 2-3 and getting an overlap so I couldn't get it turned back in again. Tried to hook up to his rear end but with my fronts ruined I dropped more and more pace and soon Frank was out of sight After that happened I began scheming on my pitstop and decided to go in on lap 41 to try and get some pace and maybe undercut Frank if he would have a bad pitstop (unfortunately he didn't pit ) and I also filled up as I wasn't sure if a full tank would last or not (didn't have time to do a full racerun which showed both in fuel and tire strategy ). Only took fronts and kept my hards on and got to about lap 65 without any mayor problems except for a half-spin when overdoing it a bit over the fast right over crest But about then my problems started...... It began with a cramping right foot which then stretched out and reached my knee and thigh and then leaped over to start working on my left foot and leg and by the end of the race I could barely move them at all, this combined with tires that were quickly dying on me made for a "drifty" ride for the last quarter of the race Had a few spins because of my foot not working which gave it a bit more power than I wanted at times and I also had the pleassure of watching part of Jean-François and Carls' battles which was great fun. Came home 3 or 4 laps down in the end which was mildely dissapointing but I had a lot of fun non the less, especially trying to keep that heavy, powerful Mustang on the road while trying to be as fast as possible I don't think I could ask for better than 4th overall and 2nd in class but with a better strategy I might have been able to give Frank a slightly harder run for the last spot on the podium Congratz to all finishers and survivors and I hope to see you all soon again for some more TCL fun | |

| great race with Carl for me, thanks for being there again chap same tempo, same tyres problem, same pit stop, and just 3 or 4 seconds between us at the end of these 100 laps finalement c'était pas du tout trop long merci HSO, à bientôt ! | |

| Just watched the video again and still cannot believe how close we where ... The race between me and Jean-Francois was awesome i think we overtook each other at least 6 times during the race and it was mostly nose to tail for 96 laps ... It was really nice the Season started like this and then ended like this just 3 seconds apart at the end wish all races where like this one ... Thanks Messrs Bovy | |
