| i loved the racing tonight car was slow but the plucky escort got up to 14th, had many multiple car battles and Teemu scared teh crap out of me at church overtaking on the inside Only annoyances were rfactors cut rules, i had to avoid a dramatically slowed down teemu and the next lap a buzzing toyota bounced on the curb and hit me over the next one.. making me cut and getting a stop go in which i forgot to turn the damage off in the stop!! arggh Cheers Frank and HSO

| What happened with the starting grid???? I stood at the left to Jonathan and saw Ben behind me Therefore, as the race started I pulled to left and opened the gap for Ben to pass, as I though he would otherwise be held up and not able to fight Jonathan for victory. Of course almost all the field went by, and I had to work my way up against lots of cars, but I had some nice fighting with lots of people. Apologizes if I was all over the place but I couldn't find a good setup and my car was difficult to control once the tires got on fire. In the end I caught Philippe and was 3rd leaving him behind as he got stuck with another car, but short before the end the blue flag waved and I let Ben pass ... only it was not Ben lapping but Philippe (Same car) and a Sierra passing Fought him back till the end and he deservedly did a great final move and took 3rd. Congrats Philippe and special mention to Ole for fighting us in his underpowered Corolla Anyway, not bad fun for a track I really hate

| Very nice race, big battle with Guy till the 3/4 of the race, then my tires told me goodbye (and my brakes were on holliday) ! In the last quarter of the race I was trying to keep Yves and David away from me but my tires was too old and David could easilly pass me, so he won the "not sierra class", congrat's | |

Respectueusement bien sur Oh my. Initally I was really sorry, and had planned to at least explain my side of the story. However. I think I just stay out of this.

| Only thing I can say is sorry to everyone for that poor race of mine. Definitely the worst race I've ever done. I threw away a class win with downright terrible racecraft. Vincent, I'm sorry - I did misjudge the braking, and punted you off. It's not the first time I've done that and I really need to get my act together. And Ben, Huge sorry for that rubbish going into the last chicane. I had outbraked myself, but thought there was more room on the inside of the left hander. I hit you and spun, causing a huge mess for everyone behind me. That was terrible driving on my part. Absolutely infuriated I threw away my maiden win at a track where my car never really had a chance. I'll also be writing up the race report so if there's any details anyone will like me to look at in the race please - let me know via PM.

| a very eventful first race for me! i tried to stay out of peoples way but unfortunately got in some peoples way in qualifying. was doing steady laps in the race then got a bit of over steer in the fast right hander before the final chicane and spun round and ended up last and spent the rest of the race catching up to the corrolas. sorry if i messed up anyones race, hopefully i will be able to get a bit more practice in before the next race | |

| I want to begin with saying sorry to: Franck - into Club we were many close together where I was right behind a BMW and Franck and I missed my braking point slightly, locked up, got sideways and hit Franck off with me following with him getting stuck even longer. I'm terribly sorry for it, it was not my intention to hit you Ben Trufini - you and JP was lapping me coming through the first section of the track and then the car ahead that JP mentioned (could also be me ) was holding them back a bit and I took a good line to try and get a run but unfortunatly Ben got sideways in the Sierra and I didn't have time to slow down and hit him. Terribly sorry for hitting you but I hope it at least helped to mend the pain a bit that I waited for you to resume the race BTCC: Didn't have time to react when I finally was able to see Tiago and I hit him and damaged the front right suspension and the car didn't want to turn right over 125 KPH so it was a frustrating thing. Had some good battles with Teemu, Martinelli (sorry, don't know your first name ), Alberto and Ole as we were having some great scraps and also Franck was in there for a while Finished a dissapointed 24th after me and Ben came together on the last lap Caterhams: Good fun. Some troubles, especially on the first few laps but then it was good fun. Especially me and Gui in R2 | |

| Wow, brought the BMW up to 6th to score a point, closely behind Gui(nearly spinning out) and ahead of Pierre's mighty Holden. Didn't think I'd score on the worst track of the car with the most speed, but the brakes and the handling in the corners was nice. Just narrowly avoided the start crash. As for the Caterhams, another two podiums with 3rd and 2nd. Couldn't beat JP in the end, but I wan to get my 3rd HSO win soon Managed to avoid another first lap incident in R1 aswell. Such a lucky guy I am. | |

Respectueusement bien sur Oh my. Initally I was really sorry, and had planned to at least explain my side of the story. However. I think I just stay out of this. I've just looked at the incident. The only reason for Francks' anger, as I from an outsiders' point of view see it as a Racing Incident, is that Ole didn't wait for Franck after the small contact was made. Ole took the corner the way he had taken it the whole race, which was quite a bit faster than all A and B cars, which put him in the situation. In the meantime Franck and a Sierra was battling ahead and Franck decided to do a Cut Back it looks like on the replay which slowed him down a little bit while Ole was coming steaming in and got sideways once he realized that Franck was going to do the cutback, couldn't avoid it and touched Francks' rear. I see it as a racing incident and the only bad part was that Ole didn't wait for Franck but it was the last lap so....... That is my 2 cents and I hope no one will be crossed with me for sharing my view on the incident

- Jonatan Acerclinth wrote:

I'm terribly sorry for it, it was not my intention to hit you no problem mate Par contre la manœuvre d'Ole dans le dernier tour c'est carrément abusé, il me semble que quand on sort un pilote on est sensé l'attendre! I agree that it wasn't nice of him to not wait for you but what I said that was what Ole said to me for the reason that he didn't wait, I would have waited as I did in the Truffini incident. As for the "big mouth" I'm not sure which of me and Ole you mean but I didn't mean to make anyone angry, I only gave my view of the incident and that comment of it being the last lap is as I said Oles' reason for not waiting. Now I'll stay quiet and hope that I haven't angered you too much Franck, I'm sorry if I did

I only had once chance at the end, brake late enough for a corner to pass and use more corners to get away from your ship Yves(who seemed to cut that left hander with the light brown marking) dropped back, otherwise it could have been messy. My engine is permanently on holiday too, there's no acceleration or speed as I hit the straights, nearly all Group A cars are faster, but the car is about 5 years old by '88...
