Hmm AC, I am not convinced.
Physics in Netkar Pro were unbelievable, and if they can improve on that as well as easier modding ability it could be the game to beat PCars is also looking very good, and finally are starting to get forward on developing improved physics. Still slightly floaty and boat like, but getting better. rFactor 2 has certainly been disappointing, but I think it's in much earlier stages of development than AC and PCars.

AC certainly looks better than rF2, but what do we know about the content ? does it includes night ? Rain ? Driver swaps ? Safety cars / yellow flags ? rejoining a server after being disconnected ?

I don't think AC looks that great. All the pictures are blurry, and usually, it's to hide something

But there are videos :
Also, likely to be rain as it was included in Netkar Pro as well as varying times of day due to the different position of sun in the videos and pictures, it was also said that there would be day/night transition in the first preview video. I remember there being flag conditions in Netkar Pro as well, but you have to look at the flag marshalls to see those iirc. Safety cars aren't too necessary, the one in rFactor is terrible.

No safety cars means no oval racing, that would suck.

While I'm still dissapointed with the level of progress on rF2, it's still looking to be a great game, just needs a bit more content and a less arm breaking FFB....
This video really highlights the sims best areas:

Bump.
Lola is the best mod for rf2 since the Megane released in day one, a glimpse of hope something good might be coming out of this game after so many mods with LOLphysics and FARCEffb feel...
I seriously hope that these FPS issues are fixed soon. I have a monster computer which can run 30 car rfactor races with full graphics and 400-800fps depending on track. With rf2 I'm lucky to get 150fps with low graphics....

The first mods for rFactor were very bad as well, it takes some time for the modders to understand how to create good physics with the new engine I guess.
