Historic GT & TC mod

We will use the the 1.95 version of the Historic GT&TC mod by the HistoriX mod team.

=> DOWNLOAD MOD part 1<=
=> DOWNLOAD MOD part 2<=
=> PATCH 1.95 <=

Car Selection

The field is divided in three displacement classes (TC1, TC2 and TC3) featuring 10 different models of cars :

TC1 (+2,000cc) : Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (4 cars), Ford Mustang (1 car), BMW 2800 CS (3 cars), Ford Capri RS2600 (4 cars)
TC2 (2,000cc) : ALFA-Romeo 2000 GTAm (10 cars), BMW 2002 Tii (7 cars), Ford Escort RS1600 Mk1 (8 cars)
TC3 (1,600cc) : ALFA-Romeo 1600 GTA (14 cars), BMC Mini Cooper S 1310 (15 cars), FIAT-Abarth 1000 TCR (17 cars)

A driver can book two different cars for the season, provided one of them is a TC3. In the double-header meetings, the first race will be for TC1 & TC2 cars together, and the second one for the TC3 cars only. In the single-race meetings, all three classes will run together, each driver being free to drive either one of the two cars he might have booked.

Faster drivers and newcomers whose overall simracing level is unknown will not be allowed to drive the Ford Escort or the Ford Capri, as both cars have a slight advantage over the rival cars of their class.

If a driver should be absent at a given race, his car will not be made available for another driver for this particular race.
A driver missing two races in a row without any explanation on the forum, will have his car(s) freed and made available for someone else to book.

Championship Rules

The championship will be run over 10 meetings. A race meeting can have one feature race (45 to 60 minutes long), or two sprint races (around 25 minutes long).

Points System

Canam-style points will be given to the first ten of each class : 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-3-2-1.
Only cars covering 90% of the laps covered by the winner in their class will be eligible for championship points.

A class having four (4) or less starters will only get the following championship points : 10-5-3-1.

Only one overall championship will be held, combining the three classes, with only one overall champion crowned at the end of the year.
All results will count at the end of the year. However, in the case of the double-race meetings, a driver will retain only his best of two possible points score for the evening.

There will be no Manufacturers’ or Teams’ Championships.

Event Schedule

All meetings will be held on Wednesday nights (all times given as CET)

20:00 – Qualifying
20:50 – Warm-up and drivers’ briefing
21:00 – Race start
21:30 – Qualifying 2 (in the case of double-race meetings)
22:00 – Race 2

Race server password : hso72

Starts will be given standing on the grid, after one formation lap (except on the Nordschleife where there will be no formation lap).

Training Server

A training server running on the next scheduled track will be online permanently. Password : hso72

Behaviour on track

A few behaviour rules :

- as for all HSO races, it is required you use your real name both in-game and on the forum. Thank you.

- Chatting is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in race session. It is allowed in qualifying sessions for technical issues only.

- Drive Through : If a driver has to do a drive through, even if there is no pit lane speed limit, he has to drive through the pitlane at 100km/h max (60mph). If he doesn't respect this, he will get a 30s penalty at the end of the race.

- Shortcuts : If a driver gains a position after shortcutting a turn, he is required to give it back as soon as possible. In the case where a driver would not do it rapidly, a 30-second penalty will be added to his total race time. In the event of abusive and intentional shortcutting, severe sanctions will be applied (up to definitive a ban from the league). To make sure you never shortcut a turn, try to always keep two wheels on the track.

Application and Interpretation of the Regulations

The admins alone are qualified to solve any problems raised by the application and the interpretation of the present regulations.

TC1 (+2000cc) : Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (4 voitures), Ford Mustang (1 voiture), BMW 2800 CS (3 voitures), Ford Capri RS2600 (4 voitures)
TC2 (2000cc) : ALFA-Romeo 2000 GTAm (10 voitures), BMW 2002 Tii (7 voitures), Ford Escort RS1600 Mk1 (8 voitures)
TC3 (1600cc) : ALFA-Romeo 1600 GTA (14 voitures), BMC Mini Cooper S 1310 (15 voitures), FIAT-Abarth 1000 TCR (17 voitures)

20h00 – Essais Qualificatifs

Just to be sure:

I scored 12 points(3rd) with the BMW, so I have 12 points now.

If I pick the Mini for R2, and finish 3rd in class(12 points again), will I have 24 points overall?

Although it says there's only one overall championship, I am not quite sure if I got that right.
