Ben oui mon Tristan, si tu shift-r sur les pits PAF tu réapparais pile sur la traj à fond dans la bosse des stands

Alors que là, c'est à la sortie d'un virage lent complètement hors-traj, et le shift-r fait rester sur le bord

Quand aux shift-r illimités, alors tu rêves copain, c'est pas destruction derby ici

rrrroooh ! nan , pas illimité of course .....genre 2-3 maxi....et pi bien sur faut faire gaffe que personne n'arrive (pribluda)....et pi faut s'arrêter à son paneaux .....c'est plus pour l'essence que pour faire du stockcar ...... de toutes façons , y'a une chance sur deux de pouvoir ralier le point shift-r après un crash ou une casse .....

mais bon....no problèmo !

Problem is: I entered it, yet I don't get onto it! It stays with #gpl.

Tell me server IP when it's ready... Do you join normally by starting the game?

Missed the grid due to being confused.

To make things worse: I felt like driving a rover on mars! I couldn't tell how fast I was going, where I exactely was and how good my times were.

The silliest thing was the pit board: My dumb rear view mirror hid the lap I was on and my lap time I guess. I only saw the gaps to the car infront and behind.

After less than 1/3 of the race(39 laps, best time in the 1:24's), my engine lost power and I rolled back to the pits. But it was game over for me, I guess I reved my engine a little to high once or twice.

I stayed until lap 102 on the server to watch a great battle

And now also Bot and even Lorenzo are out with engine problems.

My race, after a brilliant 3rd in qualy, started in the worst possible way, i was changing the fuel load when i noticed that.....the race had already started

I started 10-15 seconds behind the pack, but when i looked at the pit signals i was already 1 lap down on the field..don't really know why..
I took it easy in the first laps, i got back from 9th to 5th at 1/3 distance, despite being lapped twice by Martin....

After the "pitstop" i started to keep the pace of one of the Porsches (i think it was Tristan but i'm not sure), and even managed to go faster than him, i closed the gap but when i was close i had a lot of lagging, and at last...i spun him in the twisty part of the track when he was letting me by....damn so sorry for that

I think that was because his engine went up in smoke aswell. But both of you lost it with a bang, I just lost power, saw smoke and finally the engine cut out.

I´m covered in sweat and totally destroyed after those 3 hours (my left hand has lost a good chunk of skin for sure) but really elated i finished this

Guess it was sucky start day for some of us, i entered the grid in time but when the flag fell i fucked the start big time also: didn´t press the clutch hard enough (gplshift active so no gearchange) plus failed to engage the first gear to booth (H pattern shifter, hitting the metal divider between first and third gear). Everybody left off in a cloud of smoke (except one Ford or Mirage behind me, guess the stranded Lola in front of him screwed his plans ) and it was time to try to catch them.

It´s been a long time since my last race, i felt quite rusty still and didn´t notice i was braking like i was in qualy trim, resulting in an overshoot of T1 in my second lap and the first of my hits (fortunately this mod feels more lenient with damages than the 67 F1 cars). It was time to start finding a rythm and just chuggle on. My pit board was covered by the bodywork of the Lola so couldn´t see my position or what lap it was, and had no watch to see the time either. Fuel indicator in this car? Couldn´t find anything resembling that. Guess i sort of calculated the time right (had full tanks just in case) and managed to finish the race with a shift R to fill the tanks. Second stint was much better, no crashes at all (but lots of spins due to some stupid kerb). Missed a ton of gearchanges too but my engine didn´t miss a beat and got a nice practice for subsequent races.

Grats to Martin Audran for the win (you had a very nice duel for the most part of the race), grats to all finishers and sorry if i did something stupid when being lapped, tried my best not to be a nuisance. Oh, and GPL i love you
