| http://www.varjanta.com/forum/1982-for-rfactor-development-t1807-840.html In the post above, it is quite regularly updated Beta 0.9 is available to download here: http://www.varjanta.com/forum/f1-1982-v-90-public-beta-released-t2359.html but is requiring a sign up. It's mostly complete but is missing Ensign, March, Fittipaldi, Osella, Theodore and Toleman. _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo | |

| There is an HE in the 0.9, but I haven't tried the mod much so I can't comment on it _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo | |

| Big dissapointment so far.
The cars are stunning graphically speaking, but as soon as you drive them, everything is wrong;
Sounds are GP79 (specially the Cosworth engine), and the cars feel all the same, they don't understeer, oversteer..... nothing.
Hope they get into this matters for the final version _________________

| How?
How a modder makes a mod? How this mod appeared? someone had to do create their respective files, so if they created it, they can change, tweak them.
Come on Jens, you can do better than that.
The problem with the mod is that the cars feel very grippy, and their brakes are huge. In Hockenheim I can brake easily at the first chicane after the 100m plate, not very realistic and you can exit every single turn flat out, no need to feed the gas progressively.... _________________

| hi yes ARCADE thats what i said to rF when i heard people complaining about it in gpl caht. well its true that rF was arcade in its early stages (?) whatever: i replied on what you said: "hope they get it right in the final version". if they already have done everything and final version only allows tweaking of values they will never get it out. so basically i meant: how do you want to get a totaled car back to perfect with just the polishing? | |

| Well, that's disappointing :/ Hopefully there will be a lot of changes to be made in the final mod, but it looks like a (poorly made) LE mod. _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo | |

Like many others I have learnt to stop getting excited each time a new mod/season is being announced or released, and now only enjoy the good surprises when they come.

I wish I could be like that..... I tried another one today the 83/84 by Labombarda.... not as bad, but not good enough either I thought the 83/84 mod was horrible. The car didn't have any power and wouldn't go over 160mph?? And it had a speed limiter. _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo

| I noticed the speed limiter, and I had no problem getting the cars over 205mp/h, the rest of the feelin is similar to the 82 mod, just a tad looser _________________ | |

| I have tried the latest update of the mod recently and it's actually very nice now. The turbo's are a challenge to drive and the cars can slide through the corners if you want. They look perfect visually speaking too! _________________ 2019 HSO 1996 BTCC Championship 1st 2017 HSO 1996 BTCC Championship 1st 2016 HSO 1973 Indianapolis 500 1st 2015 HSO 1973 Indianapolis 500 3rd 2014 HSO 1988 Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft 4th | |

| Not only LE, also HE ^^
The GP4 converted cars have HE and LE, the new 3 have only LE so I guess theyll add that later. Problem with HE is the cars feel like they're on rails. _________________ Alfaholic. 1999 German F3 1989 Italian Superturismo
