| I see no race scheduled for Sept 2nd. Anybody up for a 1991 F1 somewhere fun? Hockenheim (like we just ran in interseries) or other? Dibs on the 2nd Williams car if so -Mike Edit: and the race should be short or even 2 or 3 really short races so those who break apart can come back again (me mostly ) DOWNLOAD TRACKPlanning (All times CET, Paris Time) : Sunday September 2nd :8.45 PM : Qualifying session 9.00 PM : Warmup 9.10 PM : Race 1 (10 laps) 9.30 PM : Qualifying session 9.45 PM : Warmup 9.55 PM : Race 2 (10 laps) 10.15 PM : Qualifying session 10.30 PM : Warmup 10.40 PM : Race 3 (10 laps) Server IP : 91.121.135.76:34600password : hso91HOTLAPS

| Why not, I can launch the server with 15min qualifying and 10 laps races or something like this, but this won't be considered as official HSO races. | |

| i would also be up for it. should we run 1990 just for fun, so we have a taste for the new mod? Tracks: as tracks, i love this hockenheim, but maybe it is no track for overtaking in F1? (unless close chase doesnt ruin the aerodynamics of the rear car, e.g. in the Ost-Kurve). What tracks make good 1991 cars? Estoril? Aida? if we are not many, Japanese tracks like (T)sugo or Ebisu would be great! remember, it is only 10 laps or so what we will race.3 short runs with reverse grid always grant chance for anyone quite all Circuits of the world: http://theracingline.net/racingcircuits/ Ebisu http://theracingline.net/racingcircuits/Japan/Ebisu.html Tsukuba is a great track: http://theracingline.net/racingcircuits/Japan/Tsukuba.html in case you dont know tsukuba, look this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=froT98RyeDk at 52s you will hear, where i have my Impossibru-face from | |

| Hockenheim please Gui
10 laps and 15 min qual is perfect.
Would it be possible to launch an available cars section/official thread for it in the Interseries or Open events section? If so, put me down for the Williams 2nd car (not Mansell...I am too slow to be him..Senna fan club will be sending me thank you notes FYI).
Thanks,
Mike
We can run 2x 10 lap races so the races plus qual will be under 1 hour.
No formation lap, start from grid as in last 2 Open races.
Edit: in the other thread I said near 1:40s for the fast guys. WRONG. Prob 134s or 35s. I just ran a 1:40.9 in the Williams.

| Nah no official topic or cars booking, its just for fun, you guys can take any car you want. We'll see if people can chose cars according to their level by themselves | |

| OK, I can live with that. Any chance of a "hot laps" link? (it is the only place I do not hit people) Would one of you more experienced guys rate all the chassis A for fast B for middle C for slow? As far as time (mods please edit as needed): 8PM Server launch/warmup (15 minutes) 8:15PM Qualification starts (15 minutes) 8:30PM Start of Race 1 (~15 minutes) -- no warmup lap -- 10 laps 8:45PM Restart race 8:45PM Start of Race 2 (~15 minutes) -- no warmup lap -- 10 laps HSO91 password. Same server as F1 1991 races? | |

The mod is incomplete unfortunately - Mike Becnel wrote:

I would expect the times from Spa would be more relevant for Hockenheim

| we could try to guess the values from spa, its more like Hockenheim. ah, i would rather say 3x 15 minutes because 2 is not fun and therefore we skip practice. why? i would have shortened quali to 5 minutes that would be great, so u have some surprises. the perfect guys slow, the slow guys decent. we already know the track. but as in 1967 we can use praccy = quali 8:00 Forum call "server launched" 8:02 Quali 15mins 8:17 quali ends 8:20 15mins / 8 laps 8:40 15 mins 9:00 15 mins dont forget that after race u have 2 mins lap out, you have grid build ... and all that so ur calculation is a bit tight --> so we will end up like your race but 3 heats. 2nd run full reverse grid 3rd run only top 6 reverse grid anyone seen the Tsukuba track in my video above? it is just awesome to race, i raced it once iwth Carsten Theile | |

| I'll arrive on the evening without any training, I already know the track but not the cars. Which one should be the easiest, and not be a slow-ass car? | |

| You can pretty much take your car from Spa and increase 6th gear (make the number larger) by 1 or 2 notches and it will be driveable.
Jens at race time if people want a 3rd race there shalt be a 3rd race.

Will you or another admin be there to reset (and possibly grab the race results?)
Multiple qual sessions sounds good. Maybe just 2 races, and 2 qual sessions?
