Un ami passe à la maison, le temps que je revienne devant le volant, un message rfactor a cessé de fonctionné. Je relance, je rentre le mdp, et quand je veux charger la piste, il me dit not ready in time. Suspect
J'ai essayé de re-rentré, mais cette fois-ci, le message current session closed. Alors comme on dit par chez nous, vaffanculo la F1 :D

Really enjoyed my first few laps, Then came up to lap Jason White down the back-straight, He stayed on racing line, Braked early then moved slightly too the Right where i was going down inside becuase he braked early, So i lost front wing, Pitted but my engine burned out during the pitstop. Anyway........

Great stuff cant wait for my next race on thursday!!

Thanks for setting up Gui. cheers

Sorry about that, Richard. Embarassed I was expecting you to overtake me on the right (in all the races I've seen at Adelaide, the passing on the Brabham Straight was always on the right, even the lapping). I tried to fade slightly left to give you more room in the hairpin, but obviously that didn't work.

Probably good that I crashed out on my own. The Leyton House was terribly unstable, and I would have just been a mobile chicane the rest of the way.

Yeah this mod is weird, I couldn't restart the engine at the first start at the end of the formation lap, but after the race started for real and Tiago sent me into the wall, I pitted for a new front wing, and I was able to stop and restart the engine scratch

I did go to the right just after i started braking but not enough i guess, I noticed your car jink to the right under braking but guessing that happened because as you said you car was unstable. Never mind, Cant be helped. Very Happy

Maybe it lets you because your actually at the pits??? When i tried to restart was out on track. So i just thought you couldnt restart at all.

P.S, Will you maybe do a championship in the future with this mod??

Really sorry mate.... the moment I touched the brakes, the whole car locked up and went out of control.... really did try to avoid you the moment I entered T2, but it was already unavoidable.... sorry again, really feel ashamed Embarassed

You can because theoretically it is the mechanics who restart your engine in pits, at least that's my guess

Blown engine...... :grrr:

I made a mistake just behind Lorenzo in the right kink before the straight line, and I lost a wheel in the wall Crying or Very sad

Too bad because I closed the gap with Lorenzo and it started to be interessant... Well, that's it, I still had great fun with Alexandre Smile

WHAT A RACE!!!!!!!

1) arrived at 20:55 affraid
2) had many question about the setup and the guarantee that i should change nothing,
chatting as i am, i bothered:

increased front ARB by 1 click, lenghten 6th gear 1 click. and engine rpm down 200rpm. study

guys:
i am SO excited. :drink:
first i come here with a headache (i admit i was at my parents to get some nice food hehe)-

i had NO FEELING for more than 13 liters, never gone on c tires.
had 30 crashes in 40 laps on saturday.

i knew d tires have less grip, but not how much.

thankfully the server restart allowed me a half lap to see the braking way is much longer. that was all !!!!!!!
idea: in quali brake temp never exceeded 600C because very slow warm up lap.
so brake cooling from 1 to 3, brake thickness from 2 to 2.3cm

start:

came up RAELLY good but the ferrari ahead parked. i took the inside. but there was a car. so i backed off.
behind me was a guy in a coloured car. many colours. he was on my side. i thought: is he kidding me? its a tight chicane....

he backed off,
the ferrari bumped into each other hehe but i stayed out pof trouble: race is long i am cautios.

but the guy behind me was ALL OVER MY REAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! super attackooo, it was impressive! :hihi:

without practice in rF and any other game i told me: just go like Mr Bean.

or the blue 3 wheeled car: the Reliant Robin. :conduit: :jp:

time by time i settled down. had many slides. learnign the limit with D tires.

it was just great. really.

after some laps the guy behind me was side by side and going into the first 90... after some tries we were down at the hairpin, he apssed me and i countered him.

then the 1st 90 again:

we both wet wide into the emergency exit.

another car pecked me for 2 laps. also a coloured car with many colours.

campaajoo or so i looked back.

then i closed in on the ferrari for p4.

suddenly lap 22, the stars of the game were FLYING.

in that moment i spun. lucily i avoided arisi cause i spun to the inside of the corner.

audran was so fast, in the penultimate right hander before the straight i went wide to let him past me ...

then p3 crashed. i think it was martin audran.

and i was getting in for p3 again.

my laptimes faded ... to 1 21 ... i was annoyed cause i went to c tires and thery did not wear.

i was trying the enter key many times to find out what data say to me.

man it was sooo many information in addition the car .. i couldnt drive it.

i set brake balance too 52 from 51..

i learnt to brake less and turn the car. ..

laptimes went down to 1 20 0 in the minardi at lap 30.

tires went yellow.

and i went straight into the grass after the hairpin....

lap 40: i managed to overtake ferrari :D

lap 42 i was still calculating and setting engine from 10 to 9 and 8...

car was sooo oversteery.

lap 45 i made a stupid mistake... i swerved 3 times and spun again. 3rd spin.

still place 3. :champ: :champ: :champ:

and then i saw with d tires i couldnt be 1 but 4sec faster than the ferrari ...

but on lap51 it happened:

the car was weird under braking and so fast.

LEFT REAR BRAKE DISC: EXPLODED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :grrr:

so i went into pits i hope they rpair it or replace it with cardboard.

hehehehehehehe

i was faster than the ferrari and thought myself: p3 or p4 no matter. i jsut drove on.

two laps later the Right Fornt brake disc exploded into the chicane.

the curb broke by lower spline from the hard groundplate of the car. i was taken out ... into hospital :D heehehe :urgence: :urgence:

Thank you very very much for the race, :papy:

the guy that was always getting out of the way like a taxi remembered me of the backmarker in 98 or so, who always gone out of the way. was it Toranosuke Takagi in the minardi?

or esteban tuero?

i recall these names!!!

it was so much fun, despite my exhaustion and my virus ...

man was it great to run for p3 but with some luck only.

still i managed the car on the tarmac without getting crushed. and that is a succeess !!

ashamed to see how much we are away from the stars here. so much.

but still: the mixture in the field is superb and there is muuuuuuuuch limit to conquer.

senna said ( i dont like senna hehehe)
if u discover a new limit, you see whati s the next limit :D

it was great, fuk my brake discs, but all my quesitons that i ask they have a reason.

still i stopped asking about the brake dfiscs to not bother the forum.

the point is: to find out wear, if it is from friction or heat, i must watch disc temps and drive 3 laps, monitor,

then 3 laps with more cooling.

after than 10 laps with both configurations and i MIGHT find out. if heat wears it more. thats all too much :=)

maybe there is a small guide / temperature-wear figure.

like 800C ?
:regl:

"this package of brake disc has a guarantee till 800C :regl: :hum: :hum:

my brake was 990c :hihi: at the hairpin and 920c at the rear. still the rear brake exploded at 1.48cm

the braked cooled down to 600 and 750 in the 90s.

thanks so much, many things ... i cant write!

i hope you like my story that i wrote it all down.

(if my reading is AWFUL, please say: i am sh...i...t... writer so i wont try again :D )

What an amazing race. Really enjoyed watching #1 and #2 for the last 3/4 of the race.

Bad downshift by me ate my engine. Oh well.

Laurant, sorry on lap 1. I did not realize your front wing was gone and would stop so slow. I locked up going under you.
