What happened to the rule that allowed admins to negate faster cars to faster drivers?

There's not enough speed difference between the cars in this mod to need such a rule here, but with Lorenzo every tenths of a second counts, and the Swift (especially with Goodyears) was a bit too slow.

I remember Carlo said the difference between the worser car (Penske) and the better (Reynard/Honda/Goodyear) was about 1/4 of a second, but I am a full second slower with my Penske than with the Reynard. Happy as a child with a bag of candy, though

Firestones are faster and last a bit longer than Goodyears
But yes one full second is the gap between the fastest Reynards and the Penske. The Lola might be slower than the Penske though.

BTW the last time I raced here I drove a Penske. It's an awful car (regarding speed not driveability) and I would not recommend it at all. I was definitely more than 1/4 of a second slower than a Reynard.

It certainly is, I did a quick comparison this evening and in my poor hands it's almost 2 seconds slower than the Reynard/Honda.

But it is the coolest car in the grid, and I won't change my mind even you torture me
