| Ok guys. As some of you know, I'm not much of a fan of driving F1 cars; although I've competed with the F1 92 LE. I preffer H shifting with cluch pedal and all. So the other day I found this: http://valdibarros.blogspot.pt/2011/09/mod-f1-classic-23-f1-1967-rfactor.html I really enjoyed driving those cars, and I can drive it much better than the F5000, wich I thought was really hard and more like a «rally mod» because of all the slidings!! Any of you tried this? Cheers! | |

| Which Windows are you using? If you use XP or older, its very easy following these steps : ftp://91.121.135.76/GPL/GPL%20+%20Installer.rar | |

| I drove the mod yesterday at Zandvoort... I still think it rocks!! And the sounds are great. Don't think its that easy though... you need to make good setups. Maybe one day we could do an event with this... I would love it!! I'm pretty shure if you guys try it, you would like it, I guess | |

| All the admins here grew up breathing, eating and dreaming GPL, which still today is in a class of its own and provides a unique experience. I guess you are preaching in the desert, but why don't you try the opposite and convert yourself to the GPL faith? P.D. Is there a way to use an H-shifter with GPL? Now that I have my TH8 I was wondering ... | |

| Here are the reasons it's never going to happen : 1 : the mod sucks 2 : if I remember correctly, all cars have the same physics 3 : Frank David, you're driving a poor "copy" of GPL on a straight conversion of Zandvoort. At least, you aren't setting the bar high Alberto, look for GPLShift. | |

| Yeah, I mean I know, I have it to install, but after searching a lot on GPL, It seems is has a lot of thing that don´t work properly... specialy online racing... now you tell me you cant have H-Shifter. Seems like a lot of trouble putting it up to date... But with rfactor as you know ist just easy just install it an Voilá!!! And it come with a great 67 track pack. I would really like to know how do you guys feel driving this... Cheers | |

| The main problem with GPL is called..... Windows 7 I tried last year to install both GPL and N2003 and failed with both, Antoine tried to help as much as he could but in vain, couldn't make either of them to work | |

| Did you try a dual system install with dual boot? That allows you to have both XP and 7 in your computer and when you start it, a screen appears asking you which system it shall start. That way you can have older games installed for XP and newer for 7 | |

For online racing you have VROC and I think there is another client too. For H-shift you can use GPL Shift, although I still use sequential stick without clutch. Downloading the GPL 2004 demo, you have a lot of additional content too. | |

| DRM-MODDING-TEAM had a pretty interesting modernization of the mod F1 1967 2.3. About the quality of the physical model can not say. With the wheel mod still not tested. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=F1%2067%20Classic%20Reloaded P.S However, I do not understand why the default is not exposed normal braking force. And in vain they do not use the video screensaver from version 1.6 . | |
