Round 15 - Watkins Glen

Dégouté, je me crash à cause d'un microfreeze. J'ai compris d'où ils viennent, c'est lié au volant, dès que je donne un coup sec, l'image freeze un dixième de seconde (atroce à la chicane ...). Vers le 12ème tour, je suis dans les échappements de Greg à la sortie du T1 où il se loupe un peu. Je dois me décaler au dernier moment, et donc donner un coup sec, microfreeze, et zip je perd la caisse et me prend le mur en face.

Dommage je m'étais éclaté jusque là.

J'ai oublié de changer le radiateur dans le setup... BOUM avant même le premier virage

Bon bah, la dernière fut courte pour moi! J'étais 6ème jusqu'au 13ème tours ou je rate mon freinage au virage "loop" et arrache ma roue arrière

Pretty much the same thing happened to me, 2 laps later

I had a rocketing start and went from 9th to 4th at the first corner, i got by Antoine on the long straight and i started to chase Greg and Gui, at the end of the 1st lap they were already 3 seconds in front
I started to do my own pace, Gui made a couple of mistakes at some point, i got by him both times, but he returned quickly on my rear wing, so i decided to let him through and hope he would catch Greg, giving me the opportunity to close up.

When Gui retired i did a couple of 1.38.5, closing 1s a lap on Greg and the following lap i got the microfreeze at the chicane, i lost the car, lost a wheel, game over



As usual at the end of a simracing year, i'd like to thank the admins who always do a great job for running this league in the best possible way



P.S. Unfortunately i won't be racing for the first months of 2012, as i won't be at home with no G27

I might come for the first race of the year though

Enorme remontée avec mon alfa volante jusqu au podium ...je commence a prendre mes distances avec Marcus et Carl ...et je m'endors ..
c etais bien sympa jusque là, et Marcus m a impressionné (c'est bien le meme hein?! ...Noah ferait mieux de s'occupper des Belges pour la potion magique ...le fameux pot Belge donne des ailes à Marcus ... )
voila, bonnes fetes a tous et merci aux gzntils zorgs pour leur travail !!
si vous trouvez des courses plus courtes je viendrais surement l'année prochaine

Course ratée totalement. La Tyrrell était limite inconduisible. Finalement, la chicane a abrégé mes souffrances.

que dire .... juste que je resterais dans le grand livre de l histoire HSO comme celui ayant décroché la derniere pole , le dernier meilleur tour en course et la derniere victoire de ce fabuleux mod F1 79

ma course a été vraiment tres bizarre , deja je casse mon aileron avant dans le tour de formation en allant tapé un mur lors de la chauffe de mes pneus , j ai hésité a demandé un potentiel restart mais je ne l ai pas fait . le résultat c est que j etais plus lent de 0.5 a 0.7 s au tour , j etais dégouté en test avec le plein directement je tournais en 1.38.3 et la impossible de passer sous la barre des 39 . Avec Gui et Carlo aux fesses ca ne pardonne pas , j ai eu une tres belle bagarre avec Gui , tres propre , il m a doublé ,je l ai redoublé ... et la vers le 5 eme tour je me suis mis a avoir des problemes d acelerateur, ( ma voiture prenait tres mal les tours et avait des coupures dans les 2 lignes droites ) j etais fou et j etais egalement devenu une proie trop simple pour Gui et Carlo , heureusement pour moi une fois n est pas coutume la chance etait de mon coté et ils se sont crashés tous les 2 ce qui est extremement rare venant des 2 tourtereaux .

a partir de la je me suis appliqué a ramené la voiture jusqu a l arrivée a la 1ere place en priant pour que je n ai pas une 5 eme deconnection cette annee alors que j etais en tete des courses .



dans le dernier tour et apres avoir passé la ligne d arrivée une grand emotion m a envahie , ( vous allez vous dire oh la lopette ou je ne sais quoi ... ) mais c est vrai , car c est grace et avec ce mod F179 que j ai découvert le simracing il y a un peu plus d un an maintenant , et je lui dois tout , il va me manquer mais bon il faut savoir passer a autre chose aussi dans la vie

merci a tous pour votre présence , aux belles bagarres en piste . je m excuse également pour certains accrochages verbaux que j ai pu avoir avec certains

Bravo all finishers, congrats Greg for pole and win (Also hotlap?). A terrible attrition race that puts a worthy end to this championship.

I Think that will be one race i wont forget in a hurry ...

I Started 13th Me and Alberto Made a fantastic start we both managed to find a gap through the middle
of the field and by the end of the 1st lap he was 6th and i was 7th , chased Alberto but i think he spun
so i was up into 6th .....

It was not too last too long as on Lap 4 i spun in the chicane facing the field the wrong way i had to wait for everyone to pass me i restarted in 15th place ....

Several retirements happened while i was trying to catch up with the midfield group it took me nearly 10 laps to catch up with the pack Roman was the 1st but he spun so by Lap 18 I was into 6th place , with the amount of carnage i knew i had a good chance of being in the points again ....

I Was catching Franck and Marc but on Lap 21 i want wide again into the bloody chicane , again i had to catch them up i was catching Franck and he managed to get passed Marc who also went wide into the chicane Lap 26 .... I Caught Marc and had one of the best battles ive ever had on HSO it was awesome i just could not get passed .... We had very different setups he was quicker on the straight so i tried to pressure him into making a mistake .... Lap 33 came Franck fell asleep ..

We where now fighting for a podium place Lap 34 me and Marc touched as he had a little wiggle but i still could not get passed , i was thinking he has to break soon with the pressure i was giving him and
another 4 laps with me on his rear wing and the mistake finally came on Lap 38 when he went wide into the chicane, my chance had come up into 3rd ...

Later in the race i was gifted with 2nd place as Tiago decided he had had enough ....

Once in front of Marc i started to pull away and all i had to do was coast home for the 2nd place .....

I Was really dissapointed with the 6 points i gave away at Zandvoort so this made up for it ... It also means i finished with 1 point more than last season and also 2 places further up the chapionship table so im more than happy ....
