| 3 things Can anyone help with the setup? The default setup is ok but the setup in the test pack is not good (it spins whenever i brake) and I dont have a lot of confidence in my engineering. I have selected the 908. This car appears to be slower and have less downforce than the flunder which we were just too late to take its a real uphill battle as I have managed 1.07 (now 1.06) but it was a lot harder than it would have been in some of the other cars. Can you remove [GT1]_Roberts_R from the hotlaps | |

| Thanks Gui,
I am not sure what I was expecting when I posted the comments. I didnt expect anyone to give up their car and provide a setup for me. But any help from anyone is welcome.
For our car choice, if a Flunder becomes available then please have us in mind to switch to that car. I asked Seb today and he is more concerned with stability rather than anything else so we probably are best to stick to a Porsche.
I normally just borrow someones setup and drive (eg DRM @ Spa) so its a bit of a challenge to develop the setup. With my current setup the left side tires are hot 87-97 degrees while the right are much cooler, the front right never goes above 70 degrees. With gear ratios should I try to reach the rev limit in top gear on the straight? Should we try to use 1st gear or second for the last corner? The setup balance is nice and stable, but understeer everywhere especially mid corner.

It is totally normal for the left side tires to be much hotter than the rights, this track has almost only right turns, where the left tires are taking all the G forces. You can try lowering the pressure of the right tires but that probably won't help much, you can't go against the nature of the track. You must not hit the rev limiter, you're losing speed if you do so. You have to be near it, but not hit it. | |
