[rFactor] Eagle 67

Downloaded but not tried yet,it has templates with it,so full field could be made

But a field full of 1967 Eagles has never existed.

If it works well physics-wise, it could be an interesting start for an rFactor mod. All those cars had pretty similar suspension layouts, and no aerodynamics to make you mad (wings!) so if suspension and tyre model give the correct feel ... adding more models from the 1967 season shouldn't be difficult, considering the amount of work that has gone into GPL

Still I'm surprised that nobody ever attempted such a mod for rFactor

There is a F1 1967 mod, with models converted from GPL.
In fact I even gave a shot at the physics, but Frank told me to stop when it was getting too good.

Was it ever released publically, or do you mean this was your own work? Why did it really get stopped?

It was released and made by guys from the F1Classic forum, I thought you knew it.
All I did was tweaking physics to my own liking, and I really stop when Frank told me there was no point in continuing developing this mod appart from killing GPL.

Ah I see ... no, never knew but then again I have been away from motorsport sims for several years before returning with HSO.

RE killing GPL, well, the recent attempt at reactivating the game here shows how many people are scared away by hardware/software problems and how complicated it is to have all stuff needed and run it for online games.

As of today, I think it would not be that bad to have that mod with refined physics ... with Frank's permission, of course

j'ai testé quelques tours hier à Laguna 67, j'ai bien aimé
voiture véloce et ultra-réactive, beau son, ça m'avait l'air bien malgré que ça n'a rien à voir avec GPL
à approfondir un de ces jours...
