I want to invite you to a very special event run by our league: "1st Historic Daytona 500: The Great American Race" with American Muscle mod.

C'mon guys. Make teams and come. It will be a demanding race.

A great event to run,but i'm afraid the mod is not up to the task.the lack of historical skins is frustrating. maybe the Historic GT and Touring cars would be a better choice,but i don't know what type of cars raced back then in daytona,or wich year you will simulate in this event.

Diego, the name is "historic" because the cars are classic. I don't know exactly if these cars raced on ovals, but the mod is worth it. We never did the event such as this (ovals).

I would like to race,but i can't make it in the middle of the week,i'll be working on the time the race starts.maybe if it was on saturday or sunday i could race.

Ok, we changed some restrictions:

1. Skins are optional
2. All you have to do is write on our forum your application (or write it here and I will add you to the list - without the need of registration on our website)

Next week we will put the mod online, so every day at 20:00 CET we can perform short 30 lap races. I'll tell you game server info here.

The deadline for applying for the event is stated on 26th Juni 2011.

In this week the American Muscle mod is online every day at 20:00 CET.

We have run some 10-lap short races yesterday. It was a lot of fun.

Application deadline, event date and all the dates are moved one week later, so the event is held on 9th July 2011 (quals 7.07 and 8.07). It would be nice to see one or two HSO-teams in the race (like before on Nordschleife BMW M1).
