- No way, i drove nearly all cars during the championship, for example i drove all cars in CP, all cars except the Porsche in BP, in DP i drove for Cortina,Alfa,Falcon,Mini and Abarth, Jags and Ferrari in AP, i chose multiple times the Escort in BP because i wanted to win just a race with it, i took it at Hallett, and i certainly would have changed car for the following races, same with the Falcon after yesterday

| 1st Race: Epic battle with Antoine de Mautor. He went away in the first part of the race, but lost the pace in the 2nd half. I didn't had a chance to overtake him, even if I was a bit faster, but on the last 2 laps I decided I'll give it a try. I managed to dive in in a couple of corners but the corvette was too big and all over the place to squeeze through. We had a couple of rough corners where I lost some of my paint but Antoine didn't gave in to the pressure and took the win. Congratulations mate and an unforgiving battle. 2nd Race: Pozzi made a jump start and as the gentlemen as he is gave me back the position on the straight. After the start debacle I had a 2 sec lead on Pozzi after the first lap. I focused on my lines, cuz I thought Pozzi would come back, but after 2-3 laps I was surprised he didn't had the pace. when I found out I could drive the victory home, I lost some concentration and almost lost the race in a sand trap. But, I got it out and drove the car home for a nice victory. P.S: On the fast car controversy. I'll pick different cars for the next races. I just don't practice much and those cars are hard to drive if you don't know them. I also have a suggestion to this problem. Maybe the top 3 drivers in a category could be forced to pick a car that didn't win yet? P.S.S: I improved my pace by tapping the accelerator while downshifting. I started the previous weekend and while I was mighty quick I made a lot of mistakes, but this weekend all come together and I was flying on the track. P.S.S.S: Of course we are competitive bastards, have you ever seen a world champion who is not selfish on the track? Valentino Rossi has a nice helmet, Sun & Moon, a nice guy when the helmet is off and a righteous bastard when is on. I don't drive with that codex in mind, but you got the point. P.S FTW? | |
