| I was so looking forward to having a French hotel breakfast, which is the best in Europe, and they didn't even have croissants! Just some toast with chocolate in it, tins with god knows what I'm supposed to do with them, because the chocolate toast can't be buttered... Well maybe it can but not with butter that has been in a fridge it can't. But maybe it didn't need it? Funny, I thought the little brown chips in it was raisins, thought "oh that can be tasty" toasted it and it came out as goo... Well, at least they've got a live palmtree outside the hotel, sun is shining and there isn't a cloud that I can see. Some difference, we had snow when I left home. Here I can stand outside, smoke my cigarette, and wear pretty mcuh nothing as far as warm clothes go. T-shirt would have been fine. I love France. One of the guests has a little son, about as tall as 3 apples stacked on eachother, and he came to me, smiling and speaking French. Little does the little bugger know he speaks hell of a lot better French than I do. Poor boy, I bet he wondered why I didn't say anything back. I feel rude The only French words I know are Rappel, Peage, Gendarmie and merci. Oh and Bonjour. But I can't pronounce it... Have a great race tonight guys. Ludo, come on, get that kettle boiling mate. I know it can go faster... You just need to... erm, drive it like it was a Renault 4L, as far as handling and braking goes. Mind that boost mate, you don't need a lot of it on this track. You know high boost, exiting those slow corners, is a sure way of seeing one of the wheels bouncing around on the track, attached to nothing.

GendarmeRie ( be careful at this blue man ) Oh, I knew I was a few letters short but the text is difficult to read at speed... I have heard speeding is a violation that puts you behind bars. I don't much fancy a breakfast in a government owned hotel either, so I set the cruise control exactly on what it says on the signs next to the road. Man the roads are well looked after here by the way, been shaking and bouncing all the way through Germany, with bloody roadworks everywhere, and as soon as I crossed the border, smooth as a ballroom dancefloor. I love France, I don't want to go back home. If only I knew at least 4 words in French... Ok, back on to the road! Have fun tonight guys!
