| Sorry, I simply meant if they still work alright - I'm running low on available ports. | |

| Yes, but be sure that you power supply can handle it Right now I'm using a Logitech G11 Keyboard which has two USB ports, so it can act as a sort of hub. I have plugged into it both my wheel and the TH8, all of what added to the keyboard means 3 devices in one. It all works flawlessly | |

Can controllers be reliably routed through a USB hub? USB Hubs can be used but make sure it is a good quality mains powered one as they are prone to spikes and voltage drops ....

| Jukka I just got an email from Derek: He only offers the gate plates show in his web and no other models. It seems that for 37$ you actually get the three of them, which is not bad, but I certainly would have preferred to get one with just the double H. I will see to come up with a better solution than what I have now, anyway. | |

| OK, I promised better pictures of my setup, and since today I picked the metal parts I had ordered to invert mount my CSPedals, here we go (Excuse for the chaos in my man's cave, I just barely could kick the pigs, spiders and coakroches out if it to make the pictures ) Here's the pedals mounted in the metals, and bolted into the Gamepod: The whole thing has several holes spaced to provide adjustability in distance to the seat and heigth. This is how it looks like with the MOMO 28cm for GT and open wheel racing: And here's how it looks with my Grant Winston Cup wheel, 14 inches, for NASCAR racing Still need to do some work with the pedals and fit the CSP tuning kit goodies to my liking, but overall it feels great! | |

| I used a Thrustmaster F458 wheel with pedals for my first race with HSO. It is getting returned to the store. It is already missing shifts. The wheel is very good though. The buttons are also good. Both paddles started missing or double shifting.
My primary wheel now (until I can get a G27) is a 12 year old Logitech Formula Force GT (blue wheel highlights). The force feedback now works as Logitech caved in and released support for it. I just got it working today and have the FFB working nicely. You have to set a negative value for the FFB in controls settings.
Logitech driver software is here:
http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/486/2973?softwareid=3916&osid=1§ion=downloads
I chose Win XP (even though I have Win 7), gaming software, multilinqual 64, what's new, download software.
Install the driver, calibrate and away you go.
The wheel is very powerful and, as I said, I have had it for 12 years.
I want a G27 because of the clutch and stick shift.
Edit: The Logitech Formula Force GT is REALLY working well. I have tweaked the FFB setting a little and it gives feedback on everything. Man what a difference this makes!! Driving with no FB with that Thrustmaster was like driving blind. I returned it today. Thank you Best Buy for the full refund.

| Logitech G27 is on the way! Converted birthday cash to Amazon.com order! Now I check shipping status twice a day for a few days. The "my wheel sucks" excuse is soon to be obsoleted. | |

| G27 has arrived.
First impression:
The motors are a LOT stronger and the G27 is build much better than my 12 year old Playstation 2 wheel.
And DAMN there are a lot of buttons!!

| Finally, I can power slide the car. My old wheel gave absolutely no warning of snap back (reversal, tank slapper) or complete loss of the rear end (ye old spin like lap 1 of the last Interseries race).
All of my setups are now in need of a massive tweak. They push like dump trucks. Can turn MUCH harder now and not lose it.
