USAC Rounds 9 & 10 - IRP & Williams Grove [September 17th]

Bah, je serai pas là vendredi prochain (cours samedi matin...)

Interesting 2nd race with Carlo, until his tires (probably) gave up.

Another double 2nd
In the first one i led for the first half, then the right rear gave up and i spun 4 times in 2 laps!
Luckily i had a 2 lap advantage over Philippe, so it was relatively easy to keep 2nd

In the 2nd one i stayed right behind JP for 80 laps, hoping for a mistake which never came, i had just an opportunity, but went too wide and gave the position back.
At the end i made a couple of mistakes at turn 3, lost a full second on him, then i spun trying to close the gap and settled down for 2nd

Soirée sympa avec Philippe . Dommage la désaffection pour ce championnat. Mais plus que la désaffection, je regrette qu'on ne prenne pas la peine de laisser un mot d'explication sur le forum, ne serait-ce que par correction vis à vis de l'organisateur.

Mais, j'ai eu la visite d'un ami.
Dommage car je n'étais pas dernier aux qualifs.
Néanmoins, quelle rigolade le premier non-départ, avec ces tours et ces tours de formation, sans aucun green flag...
