Safety

We will be starting the race Single File Staggered to assist in eliminating the first lap incidents. You MUST start with a minimum of a .5 - 1 second gap to the driver in front of you . If a driver is too close at the start, or causing problems, we may consider restarting the race. No pass in the first few corners is going to win the race for you.


Chatting

During, Qualifications and Race, no chatting whatsoever will be tolerated. Even to warn other drivers that you're exiting/entering pits, or to thank a lapper for letting you through. If you do chat, you will receive a warning

A bit of history : Bye bye Florida, the IMSA Circus moves on to Georgia to race on one of the finest race track in the country : Road Atlanta. Davy Jones scored another victory there, with teamate Raul Boesel rounding up the Top 3 for another good Jaguar performance. Chip Robinson driving the ever-reliable Nissan was a brilliant second. Wayne Taylor finished 4th in the Intrepid in front of the MOMO car. This 300km event was 74 laps long in 1991, but since we'll be racing a slightly longer layout with the new chicane, race distance has been shortened to 73 laps. This track is one of the best modelled and most bug-proofed ever made for NR2003, so some great racing is obviously on the way!

I should miss this one too . I'll be spending the weekend at the Monaco Historic GP, only happens every two years so I can't miss it really . Maybe I'll be home in time for the start of the race but I doubt it... A great track for GTP cars, I was looking forward to real road courses...

I shan't be attempting this one - out marshaling yet again for an SCCA Regional at Daytona.

With that said I'm hoping to make one or two races while I'm home for a bit after this one!

Does anyone have a good Road Atlanta setup for the Sauber? The "fast" setup overheats and runs out of gear on the
long straight. I do not have a clue how to make or adjust setups. It's all French, I mean Greek to me..

It's for Toyota but i think it should work on others chassis with minor modifications.

yep, just re-name it .sau instead of .toy, adjust the gear ratio a wee bit and you'll be fine

Could anyone provide there lap times at Road Atlanta to see where I'm at?

uh GH is fast. nice time. i noticed car goes 201 miles. nice, 20 more than mazda.

Yeah GH is tremendously fast as usual I remember that I was in the low 13's driving a Jag a few years back...

I'm in the 1:21s How much of a difference is the Lights and the GTPs?
