| 1) Any idea yet as to when the INI might be available or how many laps will be scheduled (so I can adjust my own INI for practice purposes)?
2) Any idea yet as to how many mandatory driver changes there will be (so my co-driver and I can put together a driving schedule)?
3) Is the H.S.O. server set up for practicing Sebring yet? IP & Password via e-mail?
Many thanks. I am teaming up with a new driver and we would sure like to get started with some joint practice on a server. We can't wait for this race!!

| The number of mandatory discos should be 6, we will confirm it shortly. The training server is online, with the usual password "wollek/boss". Concerning the number of laps, maybe the guys who already ran the race before can share their experience ? | |

| Thank you for the info, Guillaume. I appreciate it.
As far as the race length, the INI file from the 2009 Sebring race at VT Endurance indicates 400 laps. But I wasn't there at the end so I don't know if that worked well and equated to approximately 12 hours. And sometimes things change as race time approaches, so I was just checking.
If the "powers that be" are open to considering a suggestion, since most teams are two drivers, 5 driver changes would equate to equal driving shifts for two drivers ... three 2-hour shifts for each driver. Six driver changes means one driver will get more shifts behind the wheel than the other, unless the team makes an extra, seventh driver change. Just my thoughts on the subject since I try to make sure each driver gets equal time behind the wheel.
Thanks again. | |

I am not able to connect to the server. Perhaps I have the wrong IP address. I am using one from last year that appears to be a race server IP?? I do not want to post a complete IP here, in case that is not permitted, but the one I am using is "9x.xxx.xxx.x6". Is that the wrong IP? Or could the server be down? Please advise. If you cannot post the practice IP, please e-mail it to me at steel[dot]breeze[at]comcast[dot]net Thank you very much.

| Yes the IP is the same than last year and you seem to have it right. I just tested to connect on the training server and it worked fine | |

| Thanks again. I just tried it after reading your reply and was able to get in this time. Maybe the server was rebooting or something when I tried it earlier. It had said that I had the wrong password but I didn't change it and it worked this time.
I plan to have my teammate and myself there tonight for some practice at 10:00pm (eastern time, US) if anyone else wants to practice at that time. It would be great to have others there so that we can go into race mode and I could show my new teammate how to do driver changes.

| I think you can practice drivers swap in practice mode too, but if you want to go in race session, you just have to click the small arrow above RACE on the timeline (under the monitor screen). | |

| I don't think we were able to practice driver changes in practice mode last year, but I may be wrong. We'll give it a try. Thanks. | |
