| Reminds me of this anecdote a friend told me recently. In the 1970s the Soviets were working on a translating computer. One of its best acheivement was to translate the biblical sentence "The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" from English to Russian. Result was something like "we have alcohol but the meat is rotten" \o/ ! Not much progress in the automatic translation business since then I reckon Ca me rappelle une anecdote qu'un pote m'a raconté l'autre jour. _________________ Thou shalt not train.

| I think it's obvious what this post will state ... My PC has still not arrived, I cannot participate tomorrow. REALLY frustrated now as I have driven the Procars a lot when they came out and they suit me very well, not to mention Donington is a very good track for me. Someone out there is just laughing at me, especially since I paid for Priority mail, which is 8-10 days, but which Polish Post have up where the sun doesn't shine. People are telling me not to expect it before a month's time has passed. My family shipped it 14 December so... I really feel like a fool as I have signed up in November or so and still haven't even raced with you guys once! But I also didn't know how the international shipping process would be if you couldn't afford to use some high priority customer company like FedEx or DHL (where they were quoting me upwards of $500!) Anyway, /rant. _________________ "There is no terrible way to win, there is only winning" - Jean-Pierre Sarti, Grand Prix (1966) 1980 BMW M1 PROCAR Series - (2010 Edition)1970 InterSerie Season - | |

| In fact I will as the race had some specifities The race will be the longest one of the season. And that's have a great incidence. The M1 is very aggressive on the tyres. And 30 laps will be quite difficult for the poor rubbers. Then appears the pitstops. We'll perhaps see some as tyres changing is quite fast (around 15s)..but it's nonetheless a great loose of time in that serie where laptime are quite equal. So what pitstop or not? and how many? one? two? with refuel or not? Tyres managind during the race will be the key factor to the victory. Be fast and burn them in 15 laps? or be slower and do the whole race saving a may be precious time? That the dilemna the pilots will have to cope with. Also it will be a bit difficult to overtake at Donnigton. They aren't so many spot to do that safely. Three corners are best for that; the esses (T9), Melbourne harpin (T10) and Goddarts (T11). Everywhere else will be at best hasardous (but if the guy in front of you made a big mistake). An attempt could be made at Redgate (T1) if you pull out better at Goddarts. But it will not be very easy with similar cars. 80L will be necessary to do the whole race. contrairement à ce que j'ai dit je vais faire une tite nalyse car la course va avoir quelques specificitées:
