How do i edit dds livery files in rFactor? I tried doing it before but no success

You need to use either GIMP or Photoshop and make sure they can export as DDS (DXT5 format).
Photoshop requires the nVidia Exporter Plugin. I don't know about GIMP, maybe someone else can help with that.
