| For those of you who remember the race reports that I did some seasons back, I have in the mean time published a novel set in the world of racing. Racing scenes are obviously inspired by racesim exploits.
The novel is available at Amazon.
Happy reading,
Timo | |

| "Some things in life need solitude to thrive. Can only flourish in isolation and desolation, without affection hushing them to sleep.
The pursuit of dreams is such a thing."

| "Here? What exactly was that anyway? The locals called it a village. El Pueblo de Pujerra. A bar only opening its doors when the day was already well past noon, only to close again before the evening had even had time to settle in. A little further up the road, a bakery shop. And beyond that, a few houses surrounded by a countryside rolling with the smoothest elegance he had ever laid eyes on.
For Timothy Vermeersch, who had spent his entire life on an island of wealth and bustle, the place felt like the center of something that was uncomfortably close to nothingness. Where nothing lasts and he had to live with his memories and fears all alone."

| "It does not take the once great Marcelo more than one look to sharply assess the true character and nature of these abundantly pampered basket cases. Waste! Waste of their parent’s money. Waste of his time. And generally speaking, a terrible waste of space." | |

| "The latter should really not be that hard, Marcelo silently muses. Still, it never ceases to amaze him how people who, at first glance, look like perfect opposites, still react very similarly when facing identical unexpected events. As if man was truly a boring species merely striving for perfectly bland conformity. Proudly strutting different feathers and colors on the outside, but all one and the same thing on the inside: greed combined with a complete overestimation of one's self." | |

| "4.0 out of 5 stars - Well written adventurous story Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2022 Very nice story to read for racing enthusiasts or for anyone interested in motorsport. The story is about the talented racer Timo, who fled his parental environment to pursue a dream. Along the way, he encounters jealousy and hostility.
The author proves with this book that he has a lot of experience with the race and everything around it. With great precision he describes races and the track. In this first part we also get to know other characters, like the grey Marcello and Guillermo.
I recommend this book, it has brought me a lot of pleasure."
