I'm having problems getting back onto the Group C server. I tested once already, but whilst the server still appears in matchmaker, trying to join with the correct password results in a 'Join Timed Out' error, and i'm unable to view the hot-lap tracker site too.

As mentioned, I used the correct password to do my first laps on the server, I cannot think of anything that has changed with my setup or connection that would cause this error.

Our rFactor servers and the hotlap tool are running on the same server, so it looks like you simply can't reach our server. This may be a DNS issue, and could very well sort itself in a few hours or tomorrow. You can always try rebooting your router/modem.

Nicholas you are not alone in this issue . During the day I quite rarely available FTP and racing server.
But fortunately since eight in the evening Paris time everything becomes normal .

I Just reinstalled windows and find myself having to download rfactor again ..  

rFactor has now been updated to rFactor v1255g was just wondering am i likely
to encounter any problems when joining the server as i have been and i think most people
are still using rFactor v1255f ....

The Good News is i have now got sound back but i need to reinstall all my Lite installs
as these are also 1255f when i start a mod up it asks me to register the 1255f version ...

Dont fancy doing that for 20 different mod/installs  

I think update to v1255g was only for a new Purchase/Unlock screen if rFactor hadn't been bought already, might be wrong.

I had this headache on my mind for some time.

It also seems like the files of default tracks&cars have been amended. But as long as you don't need them online against f users, I think it's fine?

The g version had been called c version just earlier, I am not sure what has changed in the meantime or if they just wanted to finally jump past f, so they can call theirs the latest version

As you know, ISI now took selling the game on his own instead of through Trymedia.

@Carl: If you activate one f, all others will be activated too? I mean if you have activated one key, it should count for all others aswell.

As long as you have one active install on your PC, you won't have to (re-)activate other installs?

Unfortunately it will keep asking you to activate for each installation, a problem I have. However, for each Lite installation I make, I use the "no-cd" patch as I've already exceeded the amount of uses I have for my code.

bizzare pourtant quand je recherche toutes les parties avec le bouton d'actualisation j'ai toutes les parties hso y compris l'imsa et quand je rentre l'ip avec le bouton bleu je trouve chaque parties hso sauf l'imsa
c'est pas bien grave c'etait histoire de signaler mais bon peut etre que ça ne fait ça que chez moi
