F1 1986 is my favourite mod on rFactor 2, and CART 1985 from ChiefWiggum too.

It's a great set of models, and we are converting them to AMS with permissions from Chiefwiggum, who is using in return our physics in the CART85 mod   

Unfortunately we found something fundamental wrong in the original models/physics, which we will be fixing. It's no wonder that some people reported a funny behavior that could not be traced

Aren't you legally obligated to say the tire model sucks or did your discovery of the physics model problem supersede that comment? I am sure they will happily fix it before their 1.0 release. We're not in any hurry here!

That is true, but now that you let the cat out of the bag I am sure Chiefwiggum will come asking.

Well we are not hiding anything, we are in fact in regular contact with him. But the thing is, he has moved on and no longer working on the mod. Which is why we had to start fixing it ourselves

and if you adept the 91 he rFactor tires to this mod for AMS alberto then it's even better if not a Hughes improvement to drive them!

chief is a great guy and asked me long ago to do the physics on these by duke but we dont have time for 2 projects, so go ahead!

Missed your question Mark, sorry. I have not driven it yet. I downloaded it just before our 79 F1 race at Kylami which was wet in qual and the start then went dry.

I will have a look this week.

Missed your question Mark, sorry. I have not driven it yet. I downloaded it just before our 79 F1 race at Kylami which was wet in qual and the start then went dry.

I will have a look this week.

No problem please download it again because I've uploaded the link. In the previous one Williams and Zakspeed were not visible because of a spelling problem. Now everything works fine

Missed your question Mark, sorry. I have not driven it yet. I downloaded it just before our 79 F1 race at Kylami which was wet in qual and the start then went dry.

I will have a look this week.
