Yes, don't tell me your just reading this?
Yes they had rolling in real life, we went with standing so admins can concentrate on racing without having to give green flag commands.

Literally last minute change, apologies for that. #48 is free, I got word I am supposed to walk my dogs at a point in the middle of the race.

Come on Raul ... getting the 4GB patch in the warmup? Mate, you must do your homework and be prepared for the race, you can't expect us to delay the start for everyone just for that reason.
About my race: Got bored and lacked concentration, car behaved horribly and I was sweating because of the heat in the house as my wife decided to put the heating high so I parked the car instead of suffering/struggling any more. Road courses are definitely not my stuff

was making my way through the field nicely until a car spun in front and came across into me,then the same car rejoined the track right in front of me to finish me off.

Really short day for the day glo red #13. Never really found a decent qual setup and used a lighter race setup. Not a big deal, figured I would be starting at the rear anyway. Slow start from the green flag. The line of cars in front of me took off after the line next to me. I messed up that turn heading out on to the long back stretch so I let Mick go, falling to the absolute rear of the field. The race setup was good, so my thought process was to hang on for the first few laps and try to get into a good rhythm. Started the second lap, there were cars still just in front of me, so I just wanted to hang with them the best I could. I saw something start to develop up a few cars ahead, wasn't really sure what was going on. Into the esses it looked like Charlie's Mustang was up on one of the hills to the right. He was still moving and rolled out into the track. I really wish he would've stopped, although I'm not sure if he could have. Those hill are self cleaning type and shoot you back onto the track if you get up on them. I had no where to go and drilled him like a boring rig thru a water line. Day over. Another DNF. I really had a lot of fun throwing these beasts around this past week. The Riverside track was spot on from how I remember when I visited it as a kid. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this great event. Now its on to cook up some chili and watch the game.

Oh me so embarrasing, awefully stoopid...
...everything graphic turned as low as possible, looking fugly like uck, but got a reasonable frame rate between 45 and 35 FPS, even at the start. My GPU barbecue earlier this week got in the way of my preparation, but no way I could ever get near those laptimes, but I had a decent setup, that wasn't particularly fast, but the balance was most of the way pleasent, maybe lacking some stiffness the lighter the car got, but that is a general problem with this cars. Anyways, after the start, I found myself quickly in position, faster than the cars behind me but barely able to keep up with the competition in front of me. Some cars dropped out, I did my best to catch up Dave Miller, got within 2 seconds after working my bum of, but as soon as my front left let go, I had to let him run, so I concentrated on keeping an even rhythm. Then, people in front of me started to pit, and I could gain a few position, knowing I'll loose them again later, but for the moment, that felt good...
...so I entered the back straight, made a rough estimate of the fuel I still need, entering the number I expected to burn over the remaining race... was that wall always the...? FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU....
...turned into the kink on the backstraight way, way way to late and hit that wall that just caught my attention a split second before. The most stupid, idiotic, unneccessary race that was running well until then... I'm so pi$$ed right now...

That was me, I'm afraid. Very sorry Steve. This seems to be a trend with me now, bad rejoins. Admins may decide to put me on the shelf for one race, and I wouldn't blame them.

thank you! was really fun. not sure what i did wrong at the pitstop, but i seemed to loose a lot of time to you and yves (requested the stop and waited until the message "pit crew is ready" but still seemed to loose ~5-10 seconds). maybe random? anyway, we seemed to have pretty equal pace, a couple times i started to nibble into the gap but couldn't ever make a solid dent.
austin, way too quick man, and no idea how you saved the tires (i think u didnt' stop?)
grant, nothing to say to make it any better, disco is the worst, especially that far into a race, sorry mate.
best, dave

Apology accepted. Just to be clear, the second hit, the one that actually took Steve out, was due to my rejoining in front of him from the dirt. That’s 100% on me, not François.

Just a question about pitstops. I added 19gal? and all 4 tires changed. No Damage repairs Pit time said 93 sec for fuel. 52 sec for tires? Fuel was done in about 40, tires 52. sat 40 more secs while nothing was happening. seemed like a long stop Was this 90+ second stop time similar for everyone? Is it Normal or did I make some kind of mistake?

Hi everyone just wanted to say that it was fun running with you guys and id like to say sorry again to Greg DellaCella for taking your # 13 Camaro out of the race. I got loose going into the esses and went wide into the barrer then it shot me across the track up the hill and spun me around and came back on the track in oncoming traffic. Hopefully next time i can finish the race with you guys
