It doesn't matter when you make your selection, so long as it before the closing date. Its not first come first served. The admins will decide who gets which car based on your selections.

is the mod for rfactor or AMS? (in name of download is "for rfactor" so i am not 100% sure where to install

The F1 1971 mod will be for AMS, but this one we keep at rFactor for now.
