Intense driving, intense battles, this is super touring cars at it's best!
I would lose a few tenths in some braking areas, but all in all very competitive, very fun, i wasnt my best in the qualifying sessions, and Weber's bad start in the second race put me down in tenth after the first lap, but in the end i managed two top 5s

I agree with that! Unbelievable close racing due to the nature of this track: short and narrow. I could spend a whole evening in Jan's or Richard C's gearbox but still almost no chance to get by safely around here Especially the second race was the toughest fight I ever had racing online. Overall very respectfull driving, some questionable moments but no real drama's.
Gratz to all point finishers, thx to Jonathan for broadcasting and thx to the HSO admins for again a fun night

Great races this week. The volvo felt more comfortable in this track compared to knockhill. I had a good battle in R2 with Matthias and Ray, but I got a harsh reminder at druids that my volvo cannot copy the lines and braking point of the primera and laguna.
Still, I managed to hustle myself to 7th position and get some valuable points for the constructors championship.

This is becoming an unpleasant theme.
I think we reached the point where can rename wednesdays to "Ram Juha's rear and remove his wing" day .

Almost jump startet in both races, lights stayed on longer than usual
Races went well, a lot of battles. Lacking Power as usual everywhere, but the track was a good match for the Nissan - so it ended in a lot of fun
Nice race Miroslav, perhaps you have more luck next time!

Q1: I was fastest of the independents but the times were close and I knew that it would be hard to maintain position when in among the works cars. R1: I ran a car wide going into Fosters on the first lap, sorry whoever that was, I missed the braking point. Then a couple of laps later a little run off at Druids and dropped down the order. Spent the rest of the race fighting back to Dave Simmons but I couldn't get past. Nice to race with Franck and Dave towards the end of the race.
Q2: Fastest independent again but too small a gap to relax. R2: My best all season and I was running 8th at the end of lap 1. Battling with some of the works cars was how this race ran to finish 8th and 1st independent.
Enjoyable racing on the Fosters track but its difficult to overtake. The most fun BTCC race for me so far.
Thanks for the youtube coverage.

Nice pics. By the way Richard I saw your great overtaking manouvre round the outside of Jan on lap 23 of race 2. Overtake of the year so far?

Thanks, i was rather happy with it too, just a shame the broadcast didn't pick it up. The curse of having great racing throughout the field I suppose.

I can only apologise and, as you say, good racing throughout the field and only one pair o' eyes makes it a bit difficult to keep up with everything everywhere

Jonatan does an amazing job broadcasting for us, often under less than ideal circumstances (meaning he usually has no color commentator). I've lost count of how many times my color commentator has caught action that I have missed as the play-by-play man. If Jonatan misses anything, its very likely because he is solo and his one pair of eyes can't see everything, like he says.

I'm not complaining. Believe me, I'm thrilled Jonatan does the commentary. I know he does an amazing job.
I'm sorry if my comment come across as annoyed or unappreciative.

Not at all; I just wanted to highlight the job he is doing. I myself was a bit bummed I didn't get TV time yesterday, but then I remembered that it was just Jonatan pointing and shooting

There's no hard feelings, just wanted to state the situation as it has been for the past few rounds.
I've been told previously to follow the "important" battles first and foremost and therefore the battles that occured at the top of the overall standings in the championship had to get the most coverage and the TC battle as Dave, if the other competitors was to have worse events than they had, could have secured the championship, as of now he is still to get there though.
I feel as if I got most of the battles, or at least managed to mention them or show a little bit as the races was going on but as always I could do better
I'd be happy for anyone to join me in the booth for the broadcasts, for example the broadcast we had for the CART '88 Phoenix Race is probably the best, along with the 1st BTCC 1996 Oulton Park event and quite a few of the '73 Oval races, the event at Trenton comes to mind with Mike Becnel joining partway through Race 2, the Indy Time Trials a few weeks ago, I've been a part of full time and during all of them there were someone else coming along for the ride, so to speak.
Cheers and see you all in a couple of weeks time, for the next broadcast
