I started my Joe Leonard thread with it, these things come in threes.....
Regardless, Preston Henn was one of those....Unique....individuals in racing.
He was part of what made the GTP era of sports cars what it was, between Preston's eccentricities, John Paul, Sr's drug operations, Randy Lanier's smuggling operations, the Whittington's, etc. Was a very interesting time.
Preston was a truly American person, the guy made a fortune by charging people to come sell their junk at his Drive-In movie theaters. Though his last few years were lived under some rather unfortunate circumstances, they were also part of what made Preston, Preston.
