Thank you for giving me the opportunity... (the opportunity to race or at least...to try to qualify)
The Fondmetal were the slowest of the slowest, even if compared with the Coloni... So, with Grouillard or Tarquini...this will be at least...I hope... funny.
A good year (also of races) for all!

TBH, the Fondmetal showed promise and some design ideas of the future. It's just... the wrong, underfunded team introducing it.
In 1992, the Fondmetals managed to qualify inside the Top 15 and could have been scoring if Tarquini(&van de Poele) had more luck...

Hi and welcome too,
I hoped for Williams. After some tests in Ferrari, the 7 geared gearbox is big problem in my braind after many years with 5 gears on Hshifter I had big problems to switch to 6 gears in McLaren , but now 7 gears and shift in every seconds is only possible with padles And very often i shift to neutral because counting or watching which gear is selected is so hard in 1991 F1 speeds. The setup: too comlicated to me, there is so much parameters so I am little lost here so I hope that I will not make shame to the Ferrari team when i will not qulify on chasiss abilities

Great, I didn't know where to put my help apeal, and Michal started just nicely.
There is no more parameters as ussual, but the possibilites are endles. Spring tensions from 0-100!! Man I was lost when there was 1-10 scale!
But please, let me clear something. Im speaking now of SLOW BUMP/REBOUNDS, and FAST B/R. What does the number change? If number is bigger is the spring stiffer and opposite? Or with riseing the values Im making them "better absorbers"??? I have a big problem on T1 exit (Phoenix), with curby track.. I lowerd FAST bump and rised rebounds, but (10/40) but if I step on the throttle I just loose the car too often.
Thank you.

Me and Paolo Rossetti, expected the Larrousse's seats, the car we had many practice..and the car we prefer indeed.. We think Lotus-Judd is a step behind in terms of engine performance against Larrousse-DFR Hart, but has a nice chassis to try to pass qualify sessions in every GP
This is why you make 3 choices. We put you in the Lotus because we thought you and Paolo being together was more important to you both. Be thankful too you have a seat, many of the newcomers have missed out on a seat.
Yes, you're right.. I apologize for my useless complaining about not having the Larrousse. Lotus has a really good chassis, really adjustable and easy to drive. Lap times are the same, very good handling. Thank you for the seat and for the car

You do know that you can adjust the gearing so that you end up using only 6 gears right?

Erm.. with the Williams and Ferrari, I think you're pretty much expected to use paddles. That's how they worked back then already, no?

The Ferrari had paddles, not sure about the Williams. I know it had a Semi-Auto gearbox like the Ferrari, but i've also read that it still used a stick.

Both had paddles, the Williams gearbox was very unreliable as it was there first season using it. It caused Mansell's retirement in the first 3 races.

In 1991 after San Marino they improve something... 1992 was another history. I done some laps in 1992 Mod for rF2: really a new world...
