After reviewing the Ontario Qualification Heats, the admins have made the following decisions:
Scott Urick receives a warning for overtaking the leader under yellow, leading to a server error at the end of heat two. Under yellow, cars are to remain single file. The fact that there were not enough laps remaining for a restart does not give drivers carte blanche to run side by side or overtake each other in the final laps. Driving like this in future races will result in disciplinary action from the league.
Simon Wattman receives a warning for reckless acceleration coming back to green flag racing, which could have taken out several cars. Additionally, Simon will start his next USAC race from last place for violating the newly stated ban on qualifying boost in races. Repeat offenses of the above will result in further disciplinary action from the league.
We would like to take this occasion to remind everyone, DO NOT overtake under yellow unless the server orders you to. We are all well aware of how sensitive rFactor is under yellow; let's not invite server errors by testing its sensitivity needlessly. Thank you.
