| The real race finished under lights. Unless anyone was there to confirm, but from video footage, we believe at least 2 hours were under lights. | |

| Regarding the Ferrari Engine.
Max revs - 8500; Lifetime revs - 9000
So does that mean, as long as I keep the oil temperature below "lifetime value" , I wont blow the engine by over revving.
Where this is relevant to me is, the short straights between clubhouse and Leeukop where I prefer to stay in 2nd hitting the rev limiter at 8,500 before entering the next corner.

http://www.wsrp.cz/wsc1983.html#7 They had a thunderstorm through the race though So it may have been even quicker had the race stayed dry.

I think winners will make it in 5:10 - 5:20. I can steadily do 1:14s which equals 5:01 + five 2mins stops. With some lapping, possibly even slight damage repair, i think factory cars will be able to do it in 5:20.

| Probs with driver swap......
I am in car with Steve as passenger, (my spectate is on, his is off.....he is has already entered server.....I join later.) He sees me getting in car as passenger
My name does not appear in his "pitstop" display.....
we have same setup assigned as default, (though we never got round to making sure they had same file name, but setups were same, pitstops set to 0.

| Make sure you are giving rfactor a full lap before you pit. Is Steve requesting a pit stop? If it comes up on both your screens that you are now riding with him, he should be able to select you.
Also I'd make sure your setups have the same name to be safe.
Do you have the issue the other way round? You driving and Steve taking over?

| In qualilification session Do we have to use also the driving swap to change the drivers? I suppose the setup have to be also the same. | |

Yes, so that the game logs all times under one car. The setups can be different as after the swap the new driver can drive back to the pits, press esc and make any changes he wished. Just the race setup needs to be the same and set to the default setup.

| I probably missed something again, but what exactly are the Quali rules?
1. How many drivers from each team must qualify? 2. Is it necessary for driver/team to take part in both quali sessions?

| 1. There is no requirement for drivers, just one driver can do all qualifying or all 3. But only one driver can be on track at once.
2.No it isn't, both sessions are optional.

| I would like to ask something..
Since there is a pit stop limitation to 5 stops, what happens if we crash and enter for repair. Does it cound as a stop even if we dont change tyres and fuel up?
What is the penalty for more than 5 stops?
thank you.

| You didn't read it correctly, it says 5 fuel pitstops. You can pit as many times as you want for damage and tires. Just only 5 times for fuel.
Again as it says, if you break the fuel rule, you will be disqualified.
