Richard, I thought I saw a special screen for FFB settings in the mod. I have to check that again too.

Hi Guys, we need some feedback here please.

My team mate is not being able to join the server for some reason. He can see the server in the list but as soon as he clicks on it it throws him back to the server list I believe.

Any ideas what the issue could be? He is in the sticks so could it be poor internet speed thats causing it? He has tried both servers running this mod and has the same issue with both. he has also deleted his rF install and reinstalled everything but still the same.

It sounds like his connection is taking a long time to connect to the server so he is being timed out, which will throw him back to the server list.

I'm sure some other guys may have some advice, but is he running wireless? Maybe try a wired connection if so. Also make sure he isn't doing anything else while trying to access the server, such as streaming or download etc.

Tell him also to check his internet connection settings in the rFactor menu, he could have a good connection but instead be causing a bottleneck by having rfactor set to 56k modem.

The installation is probably in the wrong folder.

You must have this sequence of folders inside your rFactor game:

\GameData\Vehicles\Virtua_LM\Prototype_C

In the last one is the file PTC_Wheels.mas but your game can't see it because the install path is probably different.

I have one question. I found out during our testing of drivers swap that after i received the car and started from pit my steering wheel got a lot FFB. For me it is i bit unpleasant because i do not use a lot of feedback.I tried to set in the option a button for reset ffb but it dont work. Is there any way to solve this issue?

It is possible that the game carries over the FF setting, but maybe something in your PLR file can disable it

What I would suggest is that you lower the effects in the windows control panel, so that the increased ones in the game bring it back to what you are used when you get the car.

Try driving offline first before you take over the car.

Richard W had steering issues if he took over the car without driving prior to the switch. So he drove before and all was okay.

I'm not going to drive at night as my PC isn't good enough for driving in the dark, but i found one disturbing thing during yesterday's offline test. The short straight after T1 and the whole T2 doesn't show any light. Neither opponent's lights, nor my own headlamps, not even sunlight during dusk and dawn. It's just a limited dark section of the track. It doesn't bother me, but should it be an issue for more people, it might be worth to take a look at it rather sooner than later.

It was a glitch in the track released originally, but there is a patch to correct it Peter. Go to the first post and you will find it there

In any case, thank for reporting It is of huge importance that whatever glitches you guys find get reported, there is no stupid or redundant glitch report - we are not perfet and the help of you all to find any issues in time and fix them is key for the best experience. So thanks you too

Well, it was REALLY stupid to think that you don't have it covered

That is another reason why we are running the second qualifying session in the dark, so we can be sure everyone has the patch installed.
