Good fun! :top: I only had time to throw an Arrows around the Hungaroring but it feels good and all the rest looks promising. Full season car and/or track packs are sorely lacking in RF2 so it's nice to see the void getting filled a bit.

Carrera4's 1988 F1 mod on rFactor was decent enough. I really liked the 3D models, nothing fancy, but sober and rather accurate which is all I ask from an historic mod :D. Downside was it had spec physics, and not very exciting ones as well, which is why we never used it at HSO. Glad to see he's still around and jumped on the rf2 wagon Cool ! So are the physics specs too in his rf2 version ?

Cars have different physics and engines, turbo and normally aspirated, must get round to trying a few :conduit:

Indeed...a quick poke through some HDV and PM files shows major differences in mass, inertia, engines, wing downforce/drag, underbody behavior, and suspension geometry. I can't speak to accuracy but it's certainly a mixed field and a refreshing distance from spec.
study

Not that there aren't a few bugs to work out before the mod is ready for prime time...the most noticeable for me is that an HDV typo means the rear-left slow bump damper has a very limited and asymmetrical adjustment range when compared to the right side. A little polish, though, and the 1.0 release will be quite lovely.
