I'll start off with my favorite. I saw it in a theater in 1998 and I was blown away

I think we had a thread like this some years ago, good idea to revive the interest
My favourite chase film of all time, The Driver (1978) starring Ryan O'Neal, Isabelle Adjani, Bruce Dern ... pure cinema noir of the 70s
Here's one random chase of the film:
And most mythical scene ever for me, with my favourite film car:

One of my favorite TV chases. A McLaren M6GT kit car drives under a tractor trailer! (4:07)

The French Connection one will always be my favorite <3. Not only is it one of my fav movies, but I love how the chase seems to be held in regular traffic among people not knowing this is a movie . They are all stuntmen and women of course, but still it's got that fabulous realistic touch to it. I love McQueen and Bullit is a decent flick, but I've always found the car chase so over rated precisely because it is so obviously a fake one, done on empty roads with just a few stuntmen here and there to try and fool us into believing it's the real deal.
Another one I like for the same reasons is this one, from Le Casse. Amazingly some sections of the chase are actually done on open roads and you can see that some of the people in traffic are a bit puzzled by the action around them ! Also our own Bébel is of course doing all the driving himself, as he has done for all his stunts during all his career . It is a bit too long for my taste though, and also the movie itself is a bit dull, but still a great (and vastly forgotten) chase imho !

Not really a car chase but the final stunt was awesome with such motorcycle.
In another type. Old car vs new one
The most odd one in James Bond (really start after 1:18)
And the very one car chase I remember in my life. Haven't find the part of the chase done underwater.
And, for me, the most famous car chase in a french movie. Sure every french in HSO knows it

Did I hear that correctly at 3:57 he says "What's going on here, were gonna get trucked to death".
