The #59 Eagle 70 is now open to full-timers who want to switch to another car.
If it is still vacant 24 hours from now, it goes to tier 1 of the waiting list.

The #40 Eagle 72 is now open to full timers who want to switch to another car.
If it is still vacant 24 hours from now, it goes to tier 1 of the waiting list.
(Please keep in mind the allocation caveat regarding 1000 bhp cars)

I would like to have the # 40!  Thank you.

You sure were bounce Johny on the spot with that one. Congrats. Now you've got your work cut out for you.

I am very aware of the work that will be required...and am thankful to have a car owned by Pat Patrick. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Patrick at State Fair Park in 1974 for the Bettenhausen 200. Thanks Bob.

Congratulations, Bob! I've run that car as a one-off and done a good bit of testing with it in the meantime -- very quick, very stable (relatively speaking). I'd be glad to help you out from time to time, at least throw you a starter set.

Thank you Scott.  I am really excited about getting this car.  I've been doing some testing since Sunday, mostly at Milwaukee.  MAN, what a difference from the Mongoose I drove at the Rex Mays 150 in June.  I spoke to Dave Sabra by pm today and he welcomed me to the Pat Patrick team and helped me with some tips on Milwaukee (snap over steer exiting turns 2&4).  Believe me Scott, I really appreciate the offer of help and will surely be asking.  I remember you have helped me in the past and I thank you.Very Happy

Since I joined HSO back in March, this has been one of the most positive experiences I've had. Everyone in this organization is so positive and fun to be around and has greatly enhanced my life.

Thank you.

It will be a different story for the Super Team, I fear. I've been testing too, and thanks to the reduced downforce and smaller fuel load, we'll have our work cut out for us at Milwaukee pale

Don't worry...same difficulties to handle the modified car with the Chevy. The car is very touchy on the throttle even with full rear wing. 250 laps without a mistake... quite a challenge as my tyres are also taking quite a pounding.

It will be 200 laps, but yes. Will be a big challenge.  BTW Changing only right side tires on every other stop could save time in the pits  Wink

Jason. where is that option to change only two tires?  I don't see that on my pit HUD.

You can change the tires from different staggers to no change at all by using left and right arrow keys.

We'll be ok I think. Certainly not the class of the field, but with the right set, we won't be boat anchors either...

I will believe that those Parnelli's are slow when I see it. :spy:

Bob, my setups are from before the rear wings were reduced in size, so they could be lacking rear downforce.

The Parnelli is at its best at the "high speed joints" as Uncle Bobby would say.  It is not at its best on small ovals like Milwaukee.
